To bad they don't play it more often on the radio. They don't know what they're missing. Me? Just caught up on my new favorite song Rodney you're the best
Can we all agree that the United States 🇺🇸 is a beautiful country with beautiful culture, beautiful scenery and beautiful music 🇺🇸 Let's not do anything that tears this amazing country apart 🇺🇸
Rodney, I just hear your song and immediately I identified with it. I'm really feeling the lyrics, the video, the dog and God knows I love fishing. Where the creek bends. 👍❤⭐☺
Kevi Udelhoven they edited the lyrics instead of being caught up in the caught up in the caught up in the country it’s caught up in the caught up in the somewhere we’re the road ends out there were the creek bends that’s were you can find me
I love your older stuff and love this one as well. I heard it on a Prime Country station today as they debut new music from Prime artists. It literally made me sit in the parking lot and wait til it was over to turn off the car. Great job in stretching to new levels.
"Somewhere where the road ends, out there where the creek bends, that's where you can find me... Room to run and room to breathe, thats who I am and always be" ♡ ♡ ♡
I live in middle of an Australian city and i adore this song, don't need just be a country cruiser to appricate it..love it wherever you wanna play it💗just play it
The country is great, it's where you can go and breathe gods air, and feel his love, and worship his gift. The people have fun, playing, farming, and loving one another, and learning about their friends, families, and traditions. But it's not the religion, traditions, or even the country itself that makes it so special, it's the hearts of all the people that live and grow up in it is what really makes it home. Don't you feel the same?
If it isn't heaven it's always there❤️ I love living in the country and The series heartland inspires me more and more when I watch it 😘😘 I love horses and big green tractors and being " caught up in the country " ✌️
I know it doesn't sound like him. But the lyrics and the story throughout the song definitely makes it country. (And Happy almost 4th of July🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸)
This song speaks so much truth. Heaven is nature for me. I feel more at home in the woods or one the river bank. Right with all of mother natures pure beauty. No where else on earth i would rather be then siting 18 ft in a tree on a cold morning with the sun creeping over the treeline and the birds and the cridders runnin around. I could die in them spots. And you will find me grinning from ear to ear.
Missing the Iowa farm.....now that I'm in NYC...... God I need that old life back laying out in the wheat field looking at the stars with my high school gf...... Damn feels like a lifetime ago
Man fact is y'all, they may have changed the sound of his music, but he still has the same ole twang in his voice that he had back 10 years ago. I'll wait for someone to argue it. He is still country and he is proving it, but y'all don't even know the real damn reason he did it this way. Go online and look up why he did this song and read for once, y'all will be blown away and understand why he did the song the way he did. Keep it up Rodney, those kids are truly blessed to have participated in the song with you. I'm glad you and Rose decided to do this
They may have changed his style of music but his voice and it doesn't mix you can't put a country singer into pop and call it country it doesn't mix in my opinion. He has a good voice but the tune just makes it horrible and a lot of people I know also agree it doesn't mix.
If had never saw this song I would have never like it but when I listened to it I loved it so much that I never wanted it to stop I listen to everyday to calm me down it just makes me want to move to the country so much
Make life of what you can be thankful for who you are and what you and you never know when God is callling you and taking you love yourself and others!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
After reading the comments I had to come back and comment again. Some folks don't like pop country and they're complaining about this song. I can understand however the music industry has changed. I saw the change happen to R&B, Rap and country. Change happens people, get use to it. ❤
2019! I like this, because i was born in the country. Now im almoust grown up and in the city, but i love going back! This is freedom! Do whatever you want!❤❤❤💕
I love the line "Freedom as far as I can see". As someone who used to live out in the country, but now is forced to live in an apartment in town/ the city, I completely understand this line. Out in the country with your own house, own land, and own rules, you feel free. Everything is quiet and peaceful and you have that feeling like you can do anything you want and just enjoy life. In the noisy crowded city, you're all tied down by other people's rules and regulations and have no freedom or privacy. I honestly hate it. I'd still be living out in the country if my dad didn't go broke and lose our house when I was little...
Everyone complaining about this but I think it's awesome! You have to adapt to stay relevant. I love old country trust me but you have to get with the times in the music world or you get run over.
What's tough is Rodney has never had a great voice. I am ok with the song, just disappointed how lackluster his voice sounds. It's never been a strong suite for him to begin with.
In most circles of the country world Rodney has been known for having a pretty average voice, at best. Tim's is stronger but nothing spectacular. Success is often measured by ability to connect with an audience. Occasionally great vocal talents connect (Chris Stapleton), some emerge over time with that connection (Chris Young) and incredible vocal talents get left on the country music wayside (first two males I can think of are Gary Nichols and Rockie Lynne----both had one chance at country radio a few years ago but didn't connect---losing their deals---Nichols later became the 2nd lead vocalist of the Steeldrivers). Rodney has always had the ability to connect with his audience. His longterm success, say compared to Tyler Farr (another average, at best vocalist in the country music world) speaks wonders to his ability to stay the test of time. Love Rodney, respect that he has made it with an average voice. This song just doesn't connect in typical Rodney fashion to me. Nevertheless, even if it did connect with mass audiences Curb Records in 2018 is such a terrible label it will never have major chart success.
tony ei yeah he's been around for quite some time but bearly has any hits. Like this song alone is 2 months old and doesn't even have 1 million views but my favorite artists (Florida Georgia Line) have almost 4 million in just a few weeks on their song "simple". It probably does have to do with marketing and their label. I've been to FGL's concert and they definity connect greatly with the crowd and fans in general.I haven't seen Rodney even have a tour in forever. In that might be why he's so little known too.
Square bales, flatbeds Clothesline sunsets Sky blue, barn red Wind chimes, front porch Good dogs, wood floors Work boots, open doors And miles and miles of John Deere green Freedom far as I can see A road to run and room to breathe That's who I am and I'll always be Caught up in the country The only way I wanna be Somewhere where the road ends Out there where the creek bends That's where you can find me With them fields of gold and cotton rows That never ending sky I take it slow and easy roaming this life Caught up in the country Just look at 'em stars Must be a billion of 'em Just doing they thing Right where God put 'em If this ain't heaven it's halfway there You can feel it in the air Caught up in the country The only way I wanna be Somewhere where the road ends Out there where the creek bends That's where you can find me With them fields of gold and cotton rows That never ending sky I take it slow and easy roaming this life Caught up in the country Caught up in the country (Yes I am my way, I'll stay) (Caught up in it, caught up in it) Somewhere where the road ends Out there where the creek bends That's where you can find me With them fields of gold and cotton rows That never ending sky I take it slow and easy roaming this life Miles and miles of John Deere green Freedom far as I can see A road to run and room to breathe That's who I am and I'll always be Caught up in the country

Awesome song, glad to have Rodney back.
If I have to live with pop country then this is how you do it ! The steel so expertly weekend through this song is amazing

Chris Elliott I completely agree. everybody is hating on this song. I think it's s great song
What's tough is Rodney has never had a great voice. I am ok with the song, just disappointed how lackluster his voice sounds. It's never been a strong suite for him to begin with.

Caught up in the country❤💙
2019 still my favorite singer!! 💕
This is amazing song 123 I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC
The song is amazing because I love country music
Square bales, flatbeds
Clothesline sunsets
Sky blue, barn red
Wind chimes, front porch
Good dogs, wood floors
Work boots, open doors
And miles and miles of John Deere green
Freedom far as I can see
A road to run and room to breathe
That's who I am and I'll always be
Caught up in the country
The only way I wanna be
Somewhere where the road ends
Out there where the creek bends
That's where you can find me
With them fields of gold and cotton rows
That never ending sky
I take it slow and easy roaming this life
Caught up in the country
Just look at 'em stars
Must be a billion of 'em
Just doing they thing
Right where God put 'em
If this ain't heaven it's halfway there
You can feel it in the air
Caught up in the country
The only way I wanna be
Somewhere where the road ends
Out there where the creek bends
That's where you can find me
With them fields of gold and cotton rows
That never ending sky
I take it slow and easy roaming this life
Caught up in the country
Caught up in the country
(Yes I am my way, I'll stay)
(Caught up in it, caught up in it)
Somewhere where the road ends
Out there where the creek bends
That's where you can find me
With them fields of gold and cotton rows
That never ending sky
I take it slow and easy roaming this life
Miles and miles of John Deere green
Freedom far as I can see
A road to run and room to breathe
That's who I am and I'll always be
Caught up in the country
