Do we need to take out all parts first? Or we cna remove the screen after we remove the battery?

They probably broke something in the motherboard or forgot to plug the ribbon cables from the cameras
2 days ago i was watching youtube my phone froze made a loud beeping noise for about 10 seconds then just died no signs of life...that same night i kept trying different button combinations to turn it back on but it failed until one time it actually booted up into bootloader and give me the option to restart the phone i pressed it and it got up to the logo screen and died again ...ive continued to try everything but it remains dead even went out and got a new charging cable and has been charging it for an hour with still no sign of life ...please any assistant would be amazing
i had the same problem with my rog 2, the only option is to change the board which would cost 33% of the full price of the phone

my rog2 just hang and shutdown while doing messenger..,its not detecting charging now no blinking lights while charging not turning back on even i hard reset it..,theres a chance its power ic broke?anyone can answer me cant afford to change mother board..,
Your computer has a cpu error, you should bring it to a repair shop and ask them to fix it for you.

hello my rog 2 had broken screen i changed it with a new screen from a dead rog 2 i took screen and frame from it and reinstalled my rog 2 on it i charged it it lights up orange and screen turns on logo of charging and tells me to press power button to turn the device on but whatever i press the phone dosent turn on can you please help me i hope i didnt kill the phone

hello same problem...i changed display for new one and when i got home phone battery at 2% that wont charge anymore even on side port, now its completely drained and when i try to charge the red light blinks...but i cant even turn on anymore !
@@legacy6503 make sure that both boards in the phone get connected they make a click sound
@@hadyethel1 what do you mean? phone tech guy dissabamble phone for me we tested togheter something, in main board is getting 5v but right before the battery is getting only 1.5v.....is losing power somewhere in the main board and that prevents phone from chargin...ok but that doesnt explain why i cant even turn on the phone anymore...we even charged the battery outside with a machine

You should remove the case and use a cooling fan

@@HOWTOFIXPHONE Already done that along with factory reset. Downgrading to previous versions and using safe mode it still shuts down whenever the cpu reaches a very hot temp. Lots of ROG Phone 2 owners have had this issue since April. Until now there is still no way to fix it. I hope someone, maybe you may find the cause and solution of this issue.
@@beliC619 it maybe a motherboard problem, i had this kind of problem twice the first time the temperature reached 49°C and the game froze i had to force reboot bcuz my phone was stuck with a high pitched voice that was comming from the mother board, the second Time it didn't survive, now my phone's dead, my Power IC is damaged😭. But i ordered online a new one.
