Very thankfull for the video. Theirs no other video like it. My 16 ft high 13 ft wide 26 ft long waterslide got flooded I couldn't find anything on how to drain it. But I found this video and now I have an idea of what to do atleast before I was so lost , just showing my gratitude. Thankyou
You bet!! The other thing you can do that I didn’t mention on this video is prop up one side with 2-3 other blowers or chairs so all the water runs to one side, makes it a little easier as long as the zipper vent is on the side. That technique is KILLER for bounce houses!
work for a bounce house company in NC. do cleaning, delivery/pickup and everything in between. im the smallest dude on the crew so im normally the one crawling in. its not too bad but definitely not my favorite thing to do. awesome job showcasing everything to do when waterlogged!
Just started up my rentals and collected a very wet rained on unit. You were my first stop for solutions. Loved your technique a d those shared in the comments. Subscribed a few weeks ago to see how to run a 1 man show. It's no joke but I've loved every weekend of it so far!
Yes dude! You’re gonna win man, work hard and just stay patient, you’re gonna build a powerhouse. I’m trying to bring positivity to this industry and people like you is who will help spread that message. Thanks so much Jaleel!
If you have a small bouncer that gets wet, I prop it up about 30 degrees with a dolly. It gets the water to run down and hopefully out of a seam or tube. I probably should try your technique when a large inflatable gets rained on, as they can take forever to dry.
You do know you can just lift and tilt the unit up in the air put a dolly or 2-3 chairs underneath so it can drain all the water out on its own. Much easier that way. We do it all the time.
Yep for sure man! I actually discovered that move like 2 days after filming this. Haha. Makes the bounce houses much easier not having to crawl around in them!
@@nick_o_glass 🤣 Live & Learn! Good to see you out there Gettin' It! Hard to find good workers in this industry! Gotta make sure they get it done the easy way. Good Luck!
@@natashagonzalez8063 inflated. When you raise it make sure the baffles are facing towards the ground for maximum drainage. Put chairs under it to brace it or just flip it all the way on it side and leave it that way for an hour or so to dry out after it has drained. This will keep it from mildewing inside
@@nick_o_glass Which side would you prop up on this specific unit? I have the same one and it's waterlogged, would love to just prop it up as I don't have a vac.
*That's funny I came across your channel couple weeks ago we do the same technique when cleaning after wet ass weekends. Also love your content subscribed 2 weeks ago. Keep up the great work and driven mentality.* 💪
I just bought my first bouncer but my biggest regret is that it has no zippers! But it’s not a water type of bouncer so hopefully no issues. Great video though!
yeah I used to have 2 with no zippers. They were OLD, so that's weird you got one without. It takes a little longer to deflate, and if you get water in there you have to just vac it out through the blower tube.
If it fills with water by chance, air it up, lift or have someone help you lift it in the air. While one of you holds the unit in the air, have the other person put chairs under the unit a little less than halfway under it to support the unit and let it drain on its own through the threading. Just make sure the baffles are parallel to the floor and sky and not right to left or water will still be in the baffles. Hope this is understandable and of help.
Is there no concern for it being on concrete without having a tarp? I worry from them moving from bouncing and it wearing a hole in the bottom. Have you not had that happen?
I bought a used one like this and cleaned it like crazy, it seemed to be smelling from inside bad of mildew. I wonder if I could go inside the zipper and scrub all the walls that way? Would it dry out if I left it sitting up for a while even though it’s inside?

Yeah propping them is a good trick too. I’ll do that when I can so the water all runs down to the vent so I don’t have to crawl all over.

Not an issue whatsoever. Never have tarped on concrete set ups or when cleaning on concrete, which is every time now inside the new warehouse
If I can't man the zipper for him, my son always carries a pocket knife or box cutter inside. Better safe than sorry! Thanks for the video.
Smart! I go in them all the time now. No biggie haha
Hello 👋🏽 do all brands of inflatables flood when they get rain on or only certain brand/manufacturers ?
Yep

Yep go inside and attack!
What type of shop vac do you use?
Shop vac (amzn.to/2S62eTt)
30' hose (amzn.to/3fGh78a)
Can you make a video how to get stains off the inflatables
I did!! It’s a silly string video but same method applies for the most part. Don’t use a putty knife though
great videos......great advice.... where did you get the black dollie
