I loved how you show your mistakes too. I am recovering from a car accident and have OCD. I started playing with clay as a part of my recovery but whenever I used to see any clay videos get obsessed with the perfection and get saddened as I'm not that perfect because of brain injury. I am never satisfied of what I make, but that’s the only way we grow right? I then know how to make it better next time 😉

I am disabled due to arthritis which has stolen my abilities to do some of the crafts I used to enjoy, but I think this is one I could do.... not the way you can but, at least, for my own enjoyment. As someone who has tried my hand at polymer clay, I have only the greatest appreciation and huge respect for your talent and abilities with this medium! (It took me almost no time at all to realize that this material was NOT for me!)
Do you cure/bake this doll on the mug? Does everything stay attached?
The only thing I'd change would be to eliminate the brown "sash" at her waist... I was wondering what purpose it served, either as a practical part of her outfit or as a design element?

I tried to make some sort of a rope as a belt, but now I think I should have made it a bit thinner. It’s gold effect clay, so after the bake it turned out a beautiful golden color and break the navy-white. But everything is just a rough example and you can always alter them to your taste and make them your way. Maybe omit or add some stuff. 😉

Thank you for the explanation of the gold effect clay you used for the sash! Glad to know it turned "gold" after baking/curing bc I thought the color was too close to her hair color in the raw state.

What kind of glue do you glue the small parts on? And then do you bake the doll on the cup? And finally you stick everything on the glass?🤩
Small parts stick to each other with a little bit of gentle press, and they will bond in the oven. For bake and glue I have this tutorial:

You can use it daily of course. It is hand wash only. It is not dishwasher or microwave safe. But as long as you wash it by hand with liquid dishwasher and washing cloths, it will last forever. 😊

@@jackiedaniel2502 I have to bake the clay so I can not put fragrance in the raw clay. After the bake it turns out like a plastic and one will wash the cup before use, so the fragrance will disappear if I spray after.
