To be truthful, I didn’t completely understand your explanations in discord about dojo rooms, but this video had cleared things up! I knew you could double jump with a backwards normal yby, but I never knew it was also possible with backwards yby ups. Thanks so much!

Merci beaucoup! Ça me frustrait de voir aucun bon tutoriel récent sur ce jeu à la fois complet et détaillé, donc je suis aussi content du résultat. Faudra juste faire la même chose avec les boosts.
i've seen land speedrunners do a brakeboost then they punch into a slide and it gives alot more speed than only a brakeboost

Haha 500 diamond trophies on I am only learning this just now- as I realised that getting a diamond without performing a double yby air jump is next to impossible....

There is a other rcba. You know the kick you do when you crouch? (Not the gp) Believe it or not, you can do a yby up by doing the same thing as rcba, but doing the crouch attack. It's pretty hard, so I think I am the first one to find it.
Yes, that's correct, this yby up exists. It was included in my first (now outdated) yby up tutorial.
To do it, you several ways, the first one is doing a rcca (Roll Cancelled by Crounch Attack), it's a rcba but you hold the run button the whole process, the second one is doing a back and immediately hold down and then finish the yby up.
This was found years ago, by the way, but we've always thought it was useless because it's extremely slow, and you can't jump from it. It may have some potential for tight corridors because you have a small hitbox, but you can also use it to do a Combo Yby Up (same with rcba) but I won't explain it because it's difficult and useless lol.
Maybe Rcca will be used in the future.

Most of these don't work sadly. You can still do yby, back yby and back yby jump. You can also do yby jump despite not having a backward animation. I think that's pretty much it
How about wall jumping up a wall? It's possible!
I'm not sure if you talk about regular wall jump or the trick used in 1-2 invasion, but in any cases they don't require any YBY nor YBY Up.
This 1-2 trick could be explained in a very niche tutorial but Idk if I'll ever have the time to do that

J'avoue que d'habitude je propose des sous-titres pour ce genre de vidéo (en Anglais et en Français) mais j'ai dû oublié de le faire à l'époque. J'ai toujours le script final sur moi donc je devrais pouvoir le faire rapidement prochainement.
Cependant, je travaille sur un autre tutoriel actuellement, donc faudra attendre que je finisse cette vidéo.
Je vais pas ré-expliquer toute la vidéo si t'as plusieurs questions mais je peux rapidement expliquer le Bumper Jump:
Tu dois effectuer un YBY Up suffisamment près d'un bumper, ensuite dès que tu touches le bumper tu peux appuyer sur le bouton de saut, ça va te permettre de sauter comme si tu étais au sol en plus de conserver la vitesse du bumper. Pour sauter plus ou moins haut, faut maintenir le bouton de saut plus ou moins longtemps (et plus ou moins tôt parfois). Il n'y a pas besoin d'un YBY Up avec une animation de back air kick ou de back kick pour effectuer le double saut, un YBY Up avec une animation de spindash fait le taff.
