      Thanks, I ll try my best with the moc. Same here really excited for this tank build. And wow thats a lot of Tigers, but cant blame cs Tiger is one of the most iconic ww2 tanks for sure and is my personal favorite. This will be my first Brickveteran kit build so it’ll be nice to compare with bkm experience.

    Awesome haul my man! Loved the brickssoldier stuff and the AB stuff. I think the green colars really make them stand out! And finally the BV Tiger arrived! Can't wait to see that in the moc with the TMC (ahem) tankers. Also really funny, in 13:34 it sounds like you're loading a rifle while presenting the figs haha. Anyways man, very nice video I enjoyed it very much! Have a nice week!

      @@johnchris2203 Haha thats funny I didnt even realized that it sounded as if i was reloading a gun. I promise I was only trying to take my phone off the stand and not start blasting at TMC minifigs. btw its funny your bring up green colors on AB soviets, those TMC geniuses tried to challenge the accuracy of that in one of their insta story posts. and ofcourse they were wrong and just looked dumb. But either way thanks for watching John and have a great week.
      Btw i think UB weekend blitz is coming soon, you plan to get anything this time around?

      @@Rula2020 Yeah, I saw the story. Very petty of them just to do that. They're just jealous they didn't think of that before AB released them. And yeah man, about WB. I'm definitely going to get lots of stuff. For now I'm surely getting Leonidas (because it's my heritage) and the British Intervention winter soldier. Now I believe they're actually going to release Greek WW2 figures this time around and I'll get then for sure.

    The crusher cap at 11:11 is just amazing... it looks just like taken directly out of a rather famous picture of the Ardennes offensive. At first this cap was always sold out when I visited Bricksoldiers webpage and now I think the "Totenkopf" is just a little bit to detailed to get away with it in Germany. You guessed it, yes, this symbol is also not allowed in Germany without proper historical context. Context that can be done but it's a bit of a risk anyway.

    • @Rula2020
      @Rula2020  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      yes, this crasher cappie is indeed very well done and although I have now plenty of brickmania crasher caps I could not resist not getting this one.
      And to me its a bit of a shame that historical symbols are so restrictive in germany, definitely not the case as such in Estonia. It feels as here both sides of the conflict are equally remembered and accepted for what it was at the time.
      In case you ever need one or anything else “symbolic” sent to you, just let me know and we can always arrange something. I dont mind getting it for you in case there some dumb restrictions on your end preventing u to get it directly from brickssoldier.

    • @Rula2020
      @Rula2020  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Also and this is probably the last time I will bring this up haha but a lot of product release announcements and “leaks” are made (almost always) by the 3d party company on instagram. In case you dont want to miss a release day or want to know what to expect it becomes quite convenient. other than brickssoldiers release sometimes its good to see what bkm designers are working on, for example bkm Andrea / jaasta already “leaked” some of his panzer 2 luchs design/ build so I can gauge whether that is something I could interested in or not. I know it may not be that serious, but I still find insta pretty useful tool in this hobby.

      @@Rula2020 I really don't know what to think about this Insta thing after they banned me from joining the craze. I admit that it would be convenient and probably useful in more than one way to have access to this platform, but I really do not know what I could do different the next time I apply. I don't have much of anything but just a little pride left.

      @@Rula2020 Thank you, I very much appreciate your offer and if needed I will happily come back to it! In general I do understand that Germany has to hold awareness up about the dark times and that symbols are pretty symbolic in that matter. I think BKM handles this matter pretty well and TMC is in a way on the other hand of the spectrum. I personally think that military LEGO does not need exact markings to work, but I kind of feel for scale modelers because it restricts them in very much in their hobby.

      @@hookybrickshooky9529 Thanks. Quite happy being able to grab this winter tiger kit. Cant wait to have it build and see how BV compares to Bkm experience.
      And yes finally some start with moc diorama. I knew its going to be a slow process but atleast some 1st big steps taken with acquiring Lego parts and Tiger tank. I am still waiting for a number of non “best seller” from PAB, lets hope those will make it soon, then I ll run out of all excuses to start 😄
      I am not sure where they manufacture / print their minifigures but I have a speculation that they are based of russia. As this is where AB originated from. However, shipping is made out of Serbia and never had any issues getting their packages.

      @@Rula2020 I'm pretty satisfied with my BKM version of a Winter Tiger but I'm very much looking forward to see the prints of the Brick Veteran version. I'm sure that your "Battle of Narva" will be awesome, so it's worth waiting after all.
      In the current situation I probably won't buy from Angel Bricks but after gathering some informations about the TMC beef I'm currently also not eager to buy more from them as well. We will see where I get my next haul, but it probably will be somewhat crazy... I may chicken out, so I won't talk to0 much about it at the moment. ;)

      @hookybrickshooky9529 Thank you I sure hope to live up to your expectations. I am in no means a moc builder, but I ll try my best with the parts I have ordered now.
      Brickmania Tiger design is a good one, I still very much like their 131 and your winter version camo looks really great.
      Actually my original plan was to build white tiger based on 131 and brinklink white parts for it. doing it in studios was just taking a while and was having some trouble in it that I didnt feel like dealing with anymore, so opted out for BV kit version considering it also came with some exclusive ace tank commander’s and markings. Overall I am not very happy with the price tag but its the price i paid for the convenience.
      And when it comes to TMC its just more of my personal decision (and partially financial :D)and ofcourse I would never judge or persuade anyone on how to spend their money and what should one enjoy. I still think they do a great job with their fig prints.
      I am now kinda intrigued on what u have up your sleeve Hooky. I very much enjoy surprises, if you decided to do it :D

    12:24 I think it was typical for the Finns to paint white skeletons on their steel helmets during World War II.

    • @Rula2020
      @Rula2020  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      okay, interesting to know. I am not very familiar with this practice of wehrmacht troops doing this so its good to know about Finns. I have bkm ww1 german stormtrooper that has a similar print on its helmet. Also some russian and german vehicles during ww1 had similar markings. I know german ss totenkopf division used skull and bones marking on their gear. And thats where my skull n bones knowledge ends, unless we count lego pirates.

      @hookybrickshooky9529 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Rula2020 I'm certainly not an expert, but in my mind that specific symbol is directly connected with the "white death", which was of course the nickname of Simo Häyhä, but also the symbol of many Finnish helmets. I think the Finns basically received enough helmets from the former Austro/Hungarian army after WW1 to equip all of their soldiers. Maybe Germany provided additional helmets during WW2 but the Finns already had these helmets when the Winterwar started. The origin of the German "Totenkopf" comes from the Prussian Hussars of the Napoleonic war. The fashion warriors of the Totenkopf Division of course took this iconic symbol for their fancy WW2 uniforms. ;)

      @hookybrickshooky9529 some cool facts Hooky. Thanks for sharing. now I know a bit more Finns and totenkopf. Somehow I have already accumulated 3 Finnish minifigures in my collection throughout the years, so now I can add the helmet into the mix for historical accuracy.
