    If you want to add a glossary containing terms and abbreviations to your document you may find this video useful: th-cam.com/video/lfF7DPUEPQ0/w-d-xo.html

      @@neidjriodfjecmxeoc1728 ciao prova ad usare lo stesso source code come nell'esempio. L'errore è causato o dal fatto che quando hai definito l'abbreviazione non hai messo tutto le parentesi come nell'esempio o quando usi \ac{} nel testo non hai messo la giusta Key.

    Thanks for the video. How can i include two separate nomenclatures in the document. e.g., one as "'List of Abbreviations'' and the other as ''List of Symbols''? if I use the following it works for just one list without changing the format of the page:
    \makenomenclature

    enewcommand{
    omname}{List of Symbols}
    \printnomenclature[3cm]
    The video you show with glossary and abbreviations if I use will change the page template format and I cannot recover.

    Thank you very much for your great tutorial. I have a problem when I try to use it; It works very well when the symbols or abbreviations only include normal characters but when I want to enter symbols like $\mu$ and $\chi$, it gets confused and shows several errors such as "extra { or forgotten \endgroup", "missing {", "extra } inserted", "extra \endcsname", "missing \endcsname inserted", ... at each line that I have entered such symbols in the nomenclature. How can I fix it?

    • @FedericoTartarini
      @FedericoTartarini  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please have a look at the official documentation or try to use the package called siunitx. I have a video about the siunitx package. I hope this will work.

    • @FedericoTartarini
      @FedericoTartarini  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please check the package documentation and see if there is an option that you can pass when you import the package. Alternatively you can do it with Excel by coping and pasting the entries into cells and use the sort function

    Hey, thank you so much for this video. I looked through about 100 websites and that was the most understandable explanation for me. Just one question remaining. The acrynoms are slightly farer on the left site than the "Nomenclature" headline. Is there any way to move the whole list a little bit to the right?

    • @FedericoTartarini
      @FedericoTartarini  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for letting me know. I don't know how to do it but I guess it should be possible. Try to have a look if you can change the options when you import the package.

    How to adjust the space between acronym and description.

    • @FedericoTartarini
      @FedericoTartarini  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, as shown at minute 14:27 you can change the spacing using the [longest] option th-cam.com/video/zPrWS5cnDgc/w-d-xo.html
      Is this what you are looking for?
      Alternatively the official documentation says: " If you pass an optional parameter to the acronym environment, the width of the
      acronym-column will be fitted to the width of the given parameter (which should be the longest acronym). " mirrors.ibiblio.org/CTAN/macros/latex/contrib/acronym/acronym.pdf
      I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions.
