- Everyone was catching kahawai during a run at the river mouth. Then went to the harbour and smoked three along with its roe using hickory and manuka wood chips.

Wood Chips burn so quickly.. You should get yourself some chunks to try instead. I used to use chips in the very beginning and now only use chunks.
