This is basically what I’m planning to do, but I’m just concerned with the neighborhood cats that see it as a nice new bathroom.
Cayenne powder or coyote urine will help shoo them away
Cougar urine, nothing will come near it due to fear of death.
How did you / they make / prep / maintain the path?
What did you use for edging on the pathways?
What about mulching in winter to save water? You’d start planting in late February through March.
I’ve read that with cardboard & paper, this can bring termites. Is there something i can do to use this method but also avoid a situation like that?

Where do i get these program rebates? I have 20 acres out of my 60 acres i want to re wild with native wildflowers and grasses, but 1 acre of native grass seed is $1200…i dont want to spend $30k…will the government pay me to do this?
