Hi Eileen bless you, what a privilege to be able to interview JM, i am Brazilian by the way , i came to UK in 2002, i met my wife at the same year, also that was the time i started to listen to JM ( I fell in love straight way ,even not knowing a word in english ;-) .I got his album called The very best of Jonny Mathis, what a great time i had falling in love with a english girl and listening to Johnny Mathis :-) there was not two ways about, so i married her , we had two beautiful kids and we are very happy family living in South East England. thanks Eillen for posting this wonderful video, bless you, and god bless JM and his beautiful voice .x

Again I am watching your interview Ms. Prose with Johnny Mathis. Ha! Ha! 65 came and went quickly and approching 84 on Sept, 30, 2019 and still singing his heart out for all of us to enjoy. And he hasn't changed a bit. Still the sweet, humble, kind person he has always been. I see him as much as I can in concert. I am now 79 and my husband was just 84 and we just adore him like we did when we first saw him in concert in 1958.
I'm 54, that man has the golden voice, phrasing, and pitch... Dean Martin and Johnny Mathis had a similar song choices/genre. Dean Martin is was really excellent, but Johnny's freakin' perfection. Everybody I knew kept their Johnny Mathis on vinyl records long after compact discs were the norm, he's brilliant!....
I love you Johnny Mathis I have since I was 12 years old I am now on this 68 you are beautiful inside and out your voice is so silky smooth it just flows it's like you have no effort in it just comes out God bless you Johnny Mathis you are loved by so many people including me

Still a wonderful singer! Bought my husband ‘Winter Wonderland’ for our first Christmas when we were 15! We live in South Wales UK, now 75 and still find his voice is amazing! His American Songbook’ is playing at the moment. Our children grew up on his music and came with us to see him in Birmingham NEC when they were young. Still our favourite singer, long may he sing!

Just a lovely enjoyable relaxing interview with Johnny and Eileen Prose. And just as he stayed here he is at almost 82 still singing and touching so many people with his sweet embracing personality and his most Beautiful Voice that will never be equaled in our lifetime.
This wonderful, handsome, modest man has me in love with him again! J has a golden voice! This is being written in the year 2021. Watch him TH-cam. I do not see him as a Black man. Again, he is yummy even at his age now.
I've watched a lot of interviews with John recently, and I enjoyed this one above all others. It shows when the interviewer has a true knowledge and respect for the artist that is telling the story of their career. My graduation from high school coincided with the release of his first record. Have always been a fan, but have never attended a live concert. My first will be in Pittsburgh one day after my 79th birthday. It will be the most wonderful present ever from my daughter!

A statistic everyone should know your album spent 7 years on the Billboard charts. Mr. Mathis: it was actually 9 years. How many gold records? 18? Mr. Mathis: 55. It's very important to have facts correct. Glad he corrected the misinformation. Overall nice interview. I could listen to him speak forever.
