You flip the edges in such a way that they will be good after the rotation, it's like doing EOline but from the side. lar5.com/cube/fas3.html explains how to recognize bad edges in Petrus. The way you recognise them is different from ZZ.
Can you do a Petrus tutorial for each steps ?? I do ZZ but EO with petrus is confusing because I have to imagine to see the edges from the other face with ZZ because you rotate after EO for the last block
For EO I just did a lot of solves and eventually I could kind of just see the bad edges. You'll just have to learn to see the bad edges from the other angle. It just takes time and practise. There really is no trick to it. For 2x2x3 you should study Tymon's solves because he's way better at blockbuilding than any Petrus users are. Someday I might make a ZBLL tutorial, I'm not sure.
I think its really impressive that you can solve well in all these different methods, but can you solve using the heise method? there are next to no good heise walkthrough solves, and it would be awesome to see one!
hmm, maybe I'll consider doing it since many people have asked me before, but the thing is I don't think heise even makes sense as a method outside of FMC. Unless you can try the scramble many times there there are so many bad cases you can encounter in heise, like three twisted corners at the end, and J perm for the two pair approach. And most of the time I don't think the intuitiveness of the method is particularly enlightening - pretty much you just do commutators when things get difficult. So I would say that if you're interested in Heise for FMC, then there are plenty of FMC solves out there to study. If you're interested about learning more about the cube, then just learn everything you can about commutators in general - I think this teaches you a lot more. Otherwise, you can wait for me to make my video, but I must give you a fair warning: I probably won't speak very highly of the method.
You will, if you can find someone who is selling them. It's not usually organised though, so you might have to ask around. What are you looking to buy? I've got a brand new aolong v2 that I'd be willing to sell if you're interested. See you there!
I don't have a spare one then, sorry. I'm afraid you'll probably have to ask around. The moyu magnetic positioning pyraminx is pretty cheap right now on cubezz though, you might want to check that out. That's where I got mine.
It definitely is. Hyeon Kyo Kyoung had a 8.3x avg12 with ZZ on youtube some time ago, but it was removed for some reason. He was simply using EOcross and OLL/PLL as well. It should be possible to get faster with stuff like ZBLL or ZZ-d. Check out his channel, he still has some fast official singles on it.
Aolong v2 with Guhong stickers that are too big (didn't have other stickers). Not my main, just wanting to use a stickered cube, because they seem to show up better on camera.
I know that alg, but I'm not sure which I like better, because my alg is fewer moves in quarter turn metric, and I kinda like the feel of it more. I need to experiment with it though.

can you do some more petrus example solves? I really enjoy these
I am confused about the edge orientation step, how can I be sure that after I rotate, all edges will be a good edge?

@@TaoxYu i will check it out, thanks

Thanks for the answer ! Do you prefer Petrus or ZZ for OH ??

@@TaoxYu Just this comment is already really enlightening!! Thanks for the reply!
Do you thinkPetrus is vaible for speedsolving?
kind of, but lack of resources so you're on your own pretty much
will you be able to buy cubes at the Irish cubing comp

im looking for a pyraminx

what cube
is there a list of EO algs
moss ps lar5.com/cube/fas3_4.html
Is it possible to average sub 8 with zz?

Tao Yu Wow he is crazy fast, this motivates me to continiue practising ZZ (sorry for bad english)
What cube is that?
Aolong v2 with Guhong stickers that are too big (didn't have other stickers). Not my main, just wanting to use a stickered cube, because they seem to show up better on camera.
i thought it was a 10x10
You could just use petrus
So... Is petrus your main method now?
I'm still faster with CFOP, and plan to use it in future competitions. However, I think I actually practise Petrus more often than CFOP these days.
This seems a lot like zz except you orient edges in the middle of the solve
+Not Jin That's pretty accurate. After 2x2x3+EO the methods are exactly the same.
Or you could just do FMC
1:40 (U') R2' U2' R U' R' U R' U2' R2

Only longer than 10 minutes to get that ad revenue - sellout!
