loved the tour. as a fellow adult ADHD haver i would say that at least from what i see in your videos you are channeling your desire for simulus in a very creative and cool way. you are awesome keep it up.
thank you! and ugh, see this is why I'm glad I just said it in the video instead of being ashamed ... I def have talked in therapy about how I think cosplay helped me a lot in giving me something to constantly hyperfocus on and learn more about. really appreciate the comment :)
Thanks for sharing. Always cool to see other people's setups. I would love to have a more dedicated space but currently working from a spare room that has my printers, filament etc as well as all our collectibles that I also record TH-cam in but then it's mixture of the kitchen bench if I am cutting foam etc or the garage for gluing, painting, sanding. Would love to get the garage setup better with some better shelving but working for now. A lot of mine is trying to work where I can also keep an eye on the kids!
Oh man, adding kids into the equation is a WHOLLEEEE other world and I have such huge respect for you! There's a lot of inginuity that goes into having a smaller space as well. We're really lucky in the sense that our basement, while I take up like ... 2/3 of, is kind of dual purpose. My husband does a lot of miniatirure painting and resin printing so he co-op's my spaces whenever he needs.
I have used the agile/kanban workflow and I LOVE using it for organizing parts of cosplays!! I wonder if other agile stuff like sprints could useful for this sort of thing
that's awesome! the system works so well for me since it's all right in my face like DO THIS or just whenever I'm looking for a small task to do in 15 minutes, there's always an option. As for sprints, I used to do a very "bare bones" sprint with costumes where I'd figure out similar tasks I could complete over two weeks and it helped a lot!
Hi love your space and welcome to the club i got diagnosed about 5 years ago with autism so having that after 40 it kinda explanded a lot of stuff in my life. so i hope you get things figured out.
thank you! and yeah, it was something I've been looking into for the past ... two to three years, so finally getting a diagnosis explained SO MUCH. still in the early stages of figuring things out but wow, it really does change things. this is why I'm glad I brought it up (kinda considered chopping that bit out of the video tbh) I hope you've been able to work through things yourself and get the support you need as well!
Great setup!! I hope to have a setup like that soon! I only have a 3 bedroom house tho and I've got two kids so finding space for myself if rough. Thanks for the ideas!
Thanks! Yeah, we've only got the dog and the basement is a sort of shared space where my husband works on mini painting on the other side, so we're very lucky.
:D yeah, Fennec is actually a lot further along now ... will def be done before S3 debuts! and I'm so excited for another Aloy cosplay, made one back in 2018 after the first game and it was a lot of fun and a very different build than Star Wars stuff
Great setup I got a 3d printer for Christmas and as soon as summer starts I'm gonna try and make as many mandalorian helmets as possible I already 3d modeled one mandalorian helmet and spear already I'm also got 3d model a gun too
i would love to see (when/if you're ever ready) how you deal with adult ADHD and cosplaying with it. as someone who should probably get checked myself i think it would be really helpful.
I'm really glad to hear that! I'm in the early stages of treatment, so I'm hoping things will start to feel a bit clearer to me soon ... for now it's just nice to know I'm not alone :)

Thanks for sharing. You have a lot of stuff! 😊
thanks! and yeah, accumulated a lot of stuff over a short few years :P
Awesome tour! Thank you for sharing..
thank you!
I wish I had your organizational "skillz" my maker space is a mess and yet it works. For now.
Hey, if it works it works! It's taken me years and a lot of trial and error to figure out what works best for me
i would love to see (when/if you're ever ready) how you deal with adult ADHD and cosplaying with it. as someone who should probably get checked myself i think it would be really helpful.
oh definetly can make one eventually! right now it's a lot of ... ok, was this the ADHD all along or is this me? kinda questions haha
I got diagnosed with adult ADHD and it was sobering. Luckily Adderall works great for me and has the side benefit of helping my GAD
