He should practice more subtly over-laying using Middle-Eastern Oriental snake-iness, native to Iran&Turkey, witch is responsive to Flamenco in thrilling and haunting ways.
You have to remember where he comes from, it influences his playing and his passion, something you don’t have to see in a facial expression or body language, his playing is his passion.
