I thought News Nation is supposed to be neutral. Using terms like "Transgender Affirming Care" is not neutral. It is a leftist position. The idea behind that term is well "how could I possibly deny you care?" Meanwhile the right's position I would be saying "child sterilization and genital mutilation." Can you use more neutral terms such as "transgender medical interventions" or something along those lines please? While it might seem like a minute detail it is an important one.

These laws are not consistent. A 14 year old kills his brother or teacher, and he is charged as an adult. A 16 year old is allowed to get married, with her parents consent. But now we are saying, regardless if the child and their parents agree, they are unable to make the decision and do not know the consequence of their actions? Makes no sense. If that is the case, children under 18 should ALWAYS be tried as a juvenile and ALL underage marriage should be ILLEGAL.
The 14 year old is convicted as an adult to implement longer sentencing for the crime due to the seriousness. The minor will remain in juvenile custody until their 18th birthday and then transferred to prison. They do not go to prison as a minor. This is not a good example for your point you’re trying to make.

allowing this to start without others consent is already breaking laws.
Like many issues, this one has become way too polarized. I do hope SCOTUS makes an intelligent decision here, but I can't say my confidence is high.
