- Hello. My name is Kristie. I'm from the Netherlands, currently living in Germany. Since I was little I loved travelling.
I was three weeks on an incredible trip in Malta. Malta is a little island near by Sicily and consits of two other islands, Gozo and Comino. I was there with an organization, Education First (EF), where I had the possibility to improve my english and going to school. I saw many places and I don't regret anything.

did you spend a lot of time with the host family? did you do things with them? it seems very urban. what budget do you recommend per week for excursions lunch and extras? thanks
I didn’t do much with my host family. Most of the time I was out with friends. I spent like 50€ for excursions and maybe 40€ for eating per week. Maybe you should calculate like 130€ inklusive some extras. The most activities are like 10 - 20 €, the activity most expensive I paid was around 45€ (jeep’s safari in Gozo). The activities in the weekend are mostly like 20 - 30 €
Hi Kristie. My daughter will go to Malta next summer. please tell me, did you stay in the Campus or in a family? what do you suggest? I read that there is only one beach in St Julian, is this true? thanks .
Hello, I stayed in a family, 2 kilometers away from the campus. I really liked it and I would do it again, because on this way you (your daughter) can experience some Maltese culture and she is kind of forced to speak more English. The residence is also nice, there you would probably experience more the party life. For finding friends, both stays are pretty good, it depends on what people you meet and how your roommates are.
Besides of the main beach in St. Julian’s, there is also a smaller beach near my stay (I don’t know the address anymore, but if you find, there are some more)😊

@@riccardonicoletti7514 the are is not really chaotic, but there is the party life. The school is also near by the party street. It’s absolutely save there and if your daughter likes parties, it’s really nice. If not, it can be really loud in the nights and it’s buisy there.
Were there any restrictions due to the epidemic? I would like to go somewhere with EF in the summer, but I am afraid that nothing will work because of the coronavirus and also that I would have to fly there only by myself, because none of my friends can afford it. Were you there alone or with a friend?
I have to say that mostly everything worked out well, the only „restriction" was that we had to wear the maks when we were inside. Only the last week was kind of bad, because there were some more cases and the school had ro close 😅 so that many of us leaved some days earlier. I guess that if you are going next summer the virus will also be less, so that such a situation won't happen. I also booked a trip with Ef for next summer and I'm optimistic. Furthermore I was there alone, but it is really easy to make friends because everyone has the same „problem" of not knowing anyone ☺
Hi nice video I have a trip this july in Malta and I a bit worried about money... so was wondering if what you're showing are extra-activities that you pay for or were they inclued in your travel ?
No, unfortunately I had to pay for these activities. Are you also going with EF? If yes, it wouldn't cost so much.

I was 18 but there were also many younger as well as older people☺

I think I will go to Malta with EF in July but I’m scared that the weather will be too hot. How is the weather? Does it unable us to do activities during the day?
When I was there, we had like 32 degrees. The problem is that the air is mostly wet and hot. If you can adapt to this air conditions, your are able to do all the activities. The activities are also made for the Maltese summer, so I guess you wouldn't have that many problems doing the activities. Some sporty activities, like hiking, are in the evening too, when the sun is going down.

Hoi, ik ga deze zomer in July naar malta met EF maar ik vroeg me af: hoe duur zijn de activiteiten want ik heb echt geen idee. Heb jij de Gozo Safari gedaan want ik heb daar dingen over gehoord maar ik weet niet of ik het daar niet doen
De activiteiten zijn relativ betaalbaar. Ik heb de Gozo Jeep Safari gedaan, die was 40€ en dat was ook de duurste activiteit die er was. De meeste waren sort van 20€☺️

@@demi_5551 ik weet het niet meer zeker, maar volgens mijn waren de wel 7 -8 activiteiten per dag, maar ik weet het echt niet meer zeker en het kan ook verandert zijn
Wat een avontuur, dat waren 3 heftige weken.

Ben je naar Paceville geweest, het uitgaan en hoe was je ervaring daar?
Algemeen, ben ik niet zo veel uitgegaan, dus ik kan je ook niet veel erover vertellen, maar vrienden van mij zijn bijna elke avond uitgegaan, en ze hadden meestaal goeje ervaringen ☺ en ik ben dus ook vaak door die straaten gelopen en de sfeer is heel gesellig ☺
Is EF een goede organisatie want ik twijfel heel hard.
Ik was twee keer bei EF. De eerste keer, dus Malta, was geweldig en ik heb ook goed Engels geleerd/ verbeterd. De tweede keer was ik in Costa Rica met EF om m’n Spaans te verbeteren en ik vond het in Costa Rica best slecht en ik heb ook niet echt wat geleerd. Ik weet ook dat heel veel van m'n vrienden in Malta EF ook niet zo goed vonden, maar dat was vor all door de Corona situatie.
Ik kan je denk ik de vraag niet beantwoorden want ik Malta echt leuk vond, maar in Costa Rica echt teleurgesteld was. Ik zal nu ook nooit meer naar een EF school gaan, maar op de andere kant heb ik er ook geen spijt van dat ik met EF in Malta was. Ik zal als ik jouw was gewoon heel veel recensies lezen een ook zeker naar andere taal scholen kijken en vergelijken
im thinking about going to malta with ef next summer and i was wondering is 4 weeks too long to be there? also how much did u have free time?
In my opinion 4 weeks are a little bit to long. You have free time during the week, like after the lessons and of course in the weekend. I was there 3 weeks and I think it's enough because Malta isn't that big 😂😅

@@judithvermeulen7227 Dus vorsichtig moet je altijd zijn, maar ik had geen negatieve ervaringen met jongens😊 eingenlijk is het met de andacht van jongens net zo als in Nederland 😊

Hi! I’m going to Malta alone this summer and I’m wondering how easy it was to make friends for you?
For me, it was pretty easy, directly at the airport in Malta I found my first friend. Moreover, during lessons or in the beach club there are always new people to make friends with. Most students are coming there alone, so everyone is kind of in the same situation of being alone in the hope to make friends☺️

@@mmf0nseca I used my Huawei mate 30 pro, I know it's also a very good phone to film such a vacation and yeah the scenes underwater were also filmed with my phone (I buyed an underwater case for like 8 €) ☺
