Jesus said we should help those in needs. It doesn't mean Akwasi Awuah is not helping such people, he does truthfully. But because of this statement Jesus Christ said, 95% church members or people have taken an advantage of this and they have putting all their needs on the pastor or church offering. They always say what the pastor is using the church offering for? If you wanna give offering to God or the church and you want it back, then why do you go to church and give offering? It’s better you save yours and you use it for your needs.
They suppose to give and take care of the pastor in his needs because it's the church responsibility. The actual aim of his calling is to help the members to find or get salvation in Christ Jesus ,by teaching and preaching them the true word of God so they will know the truth and the right path. But his job is not collect offerings from the members and use it feed them. My dear ones we should really understand the reasons for going to church. Jesus fed over thousands people but how many of them you read or see they continue to follow Him for real salvation. Many people are looking for what it will benefit their bodies but not their souls. One thing I have noticed on our generation this time is we hate the truth and we embrace the false or lies. we always hate someone who speaks the truth and love the false ones. If you have really love the truth and if you really understand what church is, you wouldn't have bump into an issue you don't have any idea of what the person meant and speak your mind. OK LET ME ASK YOU QUESTIONS AND ANSWER ME PLEASE ;

Have you listened to the full audio of that his preaching? Do you know what he was preaching about before he reached to that level ? And as he told you he's feeling himself with the church money? And there's nothing wrong even if he feed himself with the church money because the bible tell us in 1 Corinthians 9 : 13 - 14 ( Don't you know that those who work in the temple get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?
9:14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.)
People of God ,we shouldn't get confuse on his statement . If you are really child of God, in everything just ask Holy Spirit first that , do you agree what your servants just said, after that then if you have something to say, you say it out.

WE DON'T GIVE CHURCH MONEY TO CHURCH MEMBERS.
You can’t go to church and offer an offering to the Lord and go for it back later. The purpose of going to church is to go and seek for salvation. Jesus fed about thousands of people but how many of them you read or see they continue to follow Him for real salvation?
We go to church purposely for sake of our salvation , But not to put our burdens or our needs like (hospital bills, light bills, our rents, our children school fees,etc ) on the pastor. The pastor's duty is to help the church members to get true salvation through preaching, teachings and prayers so you can know the right path and also understand the word of God clearly. He's not there to feed the church members with the church money, he's not there to sell unsave items or things to deceive the church members. The church members suppose to take care of the pastor and help him with his needs because it's the church responsibility.
So stop saying bad things against him before God stand on your neck.
You don't know who really Akwasi Awuah is, and you will never know who really he is until you REPENT. He is the eye ball of God's eye, so if you insult him, it's God you are insulting rather. It's written that; never touch His anointing man.
By the time your eyes will open and see who really Akwasi Awuah is, and also you will feel remorse for yourself about all sorts of things you have said to him , it had been too late for you.

It's very sad to see a preacher of the word slowly spiral his way into the world. Once a great man in truth now going back on his words to gain back his confidence is just sad. I pray he desist from the world cuz all I see now is elements of this world in his ministry.

Deducting from your words and contributions, mean that every "Tom, Dick and Harry" can attend church for at least six months, giving offering one(1) cedi a week, after the sixth month, confronts the so called pastor for money to pay, either his "rent, business, children school-fees, hospital bills, etc etc", why didn't Our Lord Himself give out money to His followers, but rather recommended the "widow's might? You're all" naive" about the Word of God. Go do your home-work.

And let those defending him read and be wise. The main point is verse 16
'If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of u says to them, depart in peace , be warmed and filled but u do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?'

Who told u it's about church members? This is a typical example where by it's so obvious a church member is in need of physical help and yet the church will say go in peace, let's remember him or her in prayers, oh God will do. But the Bible is clear here that sometimes the church should render help. Keep on defending him, he has deviated total with these utterances and has shocked some of us that believed him.
