You're welcome!! We also very highly recommend staying in Bedugul for a completely different experience than Ubud or the beach towns. Enjoy your trip!!

Please let me know who you used for your driver for this wonderful tour. Greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Line La! We booked this driver through a web service and we outlined what we wanted to do. The website is in the description of our video that's here: th-cam.com/video/2x7JIIIxP0s/w-d-xo.html The north Bali day was the website service, not the driver with the Whatsup number. Hope that helps!

I am really surprised. Been to Bali many times heard of seen many Hindu temples but not a single Buddhist Temple (would have thought they are banned in what is basically a Hindu land). The temples look very nice and the waterfall beautiful. Interesting trip.....

Yes! That's exactly why we had to visit them - then to find one so beautiful made the trip even more worth it. 😊

As an Indonesian Buddhist myself, I’d say that Bali, Balinese, and Hindu are amazing. Without Balinese Hindu people blessing no such thing would exist. In fact, Gautam Buddha is actually recognized as a manifestation of Vishnu, the protector. To most people’s surprise, there’s actually a site in Ubud named Pura Telaga Dwaja. A place of 1,000 years of age, taken care of by Hindu people. And it was actually a Kasogatan Buddhist’s sacred place. Hindu and Buddha in Indonesia are living proves of not only tolerance but also brotherhood. The marriage between two religions’ big clans in Java would have possibly started it all. Hindu and Buddha? We never fought nor banned each other here.

There are numerous Buddhist temples throughout Bali. In Hinduism Buddha has been taken in and is considered an avatar of the God Vishnu. Aside from this, the history of Buddhism in Indonesia is ancient and includes Borobudur in Java which is the largest Buddhist temple structure in the world.
