- In this weeks video we went in search of some classic cars but found something completely unexpected!.. a friend of mine told me there were a load of classic cars rotting away in a empty shed in the middle of a field somewhere in Wales.. so we went on the hunt!… unfortunately all the cars were long gone, but we did find something els very interesting! A small house completely abandoned with some very interesting things left behind! Hope you enjoy this weeks video guys 🙂

That was probably a beautiful home in its glory days. The property and the area it’s located is absolutely beautiful. Lily is a little cutie. I can’t believe the weeds and brush you crawl through. Amazing. Loved the video.
It was many years ago, going to be rebuilt, but think the owners run out of money or something, cement mixer and other tools hung around on site for many years, now it's abandoned..?
I'd buy that house in a heartbeat and fix it up!. ❣️
With the house being a bat roost it may be a good idea to contact the areas bat group and let them know so it can be registered.

Another great find Collin, that would've been a lovely house back in its day. Shame its left as it is. Also well done Carrie for climbing those walls with the nettles and brambles and trees all around. The girl done well lol.

Lilley is so cute & that house is beautiful wish I had the dosh I would buy it to refurbish & live in.
Look like a late 1st Gen Range Rover head rests, which would make sense if it was on or around farm land.
Another great explore Colin. In its day, that must have been a pretty little house. I'm glad that you had some companionship for this one and not solo 😉 to share your find. Lilly is such a little character, cute as all heck. I think that the headrests are for a Mercedes 🤔. Throughly enjoy your explores/adventures Colin.

They are not real Stradivarius violins! Many used to put the paper sticker inside but the violin isn’t a strad!
What a beauty it must have been. So sad it's all rotting. Lily is lovely and very adventurous. She tried to jump, give her points for trying. Daft to wear shorts on an explore. You guys stay safe.
That was a fun explore, must have been a cute house at one time. The little bats 🦇 are probably pipistrelles and are protected. Your little dog is adorable and obviously loves exploring too!! Thank you to you and Carrie.
All bats are protected including their roosts.

All UK bat roosts and bats are protected. They looked quite big for pipestrelles to be honest. If the house was sold or underwent work now given its state it would require assessment and they'd spot the bats very easily. There's a lot more can be done sympathetically with bats now but I doubt anyone will be doing anything with that place so they'll live on for generations to come there ❤️
@@weatherwitchandfelinefamiliars Maybe the bat vermin could be given a council house and £40 a week . They would have to slum it for a while at a 4 star hotel first.

Love your skippy little dog, completely adorable. Did you know the old wives remedy for nettle stings, rub them with a Dock leaf which always grow besides nettles. It really works.

Note to self:
As burglar deterrent, plant plenty of poison oak, ivy and sumac. A field of stinging nettles as well. Thank you for sacrificing your skin for the wonderful architectural tour

The car head rests look like they might possibly be for a Mercedes 300SD Turbo Diesel.

What a fascinating explore. This has been a lovely house at one time. Such a shame to see it in such a dilapidated condition now. I always wish places like that could be saved before it’s too late.

My wife and I regularly walk past this property, there is another abandoned house at the top of the hill, leading to Redmarly....there are also a good collection of old vehicles including a Ford Escort SRi in a barn at the old farm , down the track were you are....

Nice video from you again :) The headrests looks like they could be from a Vauxhall Carlton from the early 1980ies. In Denmark it would be from a Opel Rekord E 1982 or so :)

What a beautiful house! It's so sad to see the people for whatever reasons stopped going about their daily routines. It must have been an interesting lifestyle at home.🙂 If those round metal enclosures were for sheep, it does appear as though they had a lot more of them at one time and started using some of them for storage when there wasn't enough sheep. 🥺

Lilys bambi jumps are hilarious and so damn cute 😍🤣🤣 What an amazing find that place was! The upper rooms looked very old with the window design and beams as did certain aspects of the downstairs. I wonder if that door did lead to a cellar or old cold store type facility. The hinges were amazing and that back wall looked fake, like a further room or stairs lay beyond at some point. The carpet in the blue room is the same as my best mate Still has down.... From the 1980s!! Amazing find, but what a fight to get to and into. I really appreciate that you did though ❤️

the thing you thought was a wardrobe in the 'shed' was, I think, a roll top writing desk
love bats, best thing is to just stand still, if you move that is when they fly into you (yeah, easier said than done)
no idea on the car head rests, as far as I'm concerned a car is just a box on wheels to get you from A to B.
The house at the top of the hill, has some old cars in a barn, a Range Rover and a Sunbeam Talbot, from what I remember....

I'm sorry to keep bothering you, but I seem to see some really nice things..Compared to the start.. lovely cabinets and I love the horse shoe lights...not great if the floor gives out .These houses are amazing and sad... Love your videos..can't believe the violins..man those are worth money I'm sure..sad 😥 I am 63 and, to knowing could just be gone and this is my house 20 years from now and, it was left to waste...I really don't understand why the county these homes are in. If no one claims it than things need to be sold funds to schools or charities if antiques than a local historical museum..just a thought from an old lady..💜 from the US .

That was another great video,the house must have been fantastic in its day.The view from that large window probably great before the trees all grew up. Shame about no cars but the entertaining viewing of the house you 2 gave made up for that. You definitely need to wear trousers!!! Your legs must have got sooo stung!!! Possibly new owner cannot carry on refurbishing house as bats are protected and your not supposed to disturb them and have to wait till they move on
I love the videos, question though, after you have done them and posted them, do you ever get contacted by people who believe they are the owners etc?
I was more interested in the old pictures that were in the box NEXT to the head rests. They looked extremely old.
