Holy shit. I can't believe there is positive finance content that isn't drama baiting. This was nice and very helpful to go through the process. Thanks and keep it up!

Nice job! It’s fun to see how other people budget. I like the way you’re funding a little bit of April as you work your way through March. Is that part of a plan to get a full month ahead? It’s such a great feeling when it happens. Looking forward to yiure next one.

Thank you! I am definitely working towards getting a month ahead. I think for now I’m mainly just funding the categories that will be coming out before my next paycheck!

I would like to understand how to resolve the following situations:
If encountering "You assigned more than you have", what would you recommend for the following two approaches?
    (1) Adjust the assigned items for each month to ensure the Ready to assign value is not less than 0 (allowing some items to be overspent)
    (2) Keep the "You assigned more than you have" value as it is, even if it is negative, without any adjustments, with the goal of finding ways to earn money to cover the over budget amount.

      (1) Yeah, budget back and see where you can (temporaly) move/take the money from.
      (2) I would not do that as it defeats an important principle. You are planing with more money than you have. If your budget is into dept you could follow, which defeat the purpose.
Make money sound like it is not resolved until need to pay the next bill. Therefore it could mean a loan....
I am not sure, what your question exactly meant. Maybe me feedback hits or not. Do not care to much, if it does not respond accordingly.

@@jito7377 I'm used to pre-assigning the Fixed expenses that also need to be paid each month, as a reminder for myself to make the payments.
The reason I do this is because the host on the YNAB TH-cam channel told me that I can arbitrarily make assignments, as long as I regularly reconcile to maintain the accuracy of the bank account balance, the Budget amount will not be wrong.
I should no longer use this method, even if many categories show overspending, I still need to keep the Ready to assign value exactly at 0.
Additionally, sometimes when I see "All money assigned", if I try to assign another amount, it will not immediately show a negative value, still displaying "All money assigned".
Another situation is that I had a deposit posted into my bank account, but the "Ready to assign" amount did not immediately become a positive number.
Only when I try to assign a fairly large amount, the available amount for assign will change.

I love your budget! I too would like to start TH-cam with doing this same thing. Showing off my budget and how I do it but how do you go about posting these videos and not feeling embarrassed of family members seeing it? Or, how do you feel about putting your expenses before the world? My husband doesn't feel to comfy about it but I feel like its okay? Just wanted your thoughts!

Honestly, I haven’t told my family yet! 🤣 This is something I’m choosing to keep to myself for now (other than my partner). I was a bit hesitant about putting my expenses out there for people to see, but I was inspired by other creators who do the same thing. I think it helps people feel less alone to see other people with similar situations 😊 I am however selective about what I show onscreen. I try not to show account names or transaction details, just for my own comfort.
      Thanks for watching!

@@BudgetwithChloe98 thanks for the response! Okay, makes sense! I was going to start posting and not share with family. Also, I know the only ones to stumble upon it are those that have similar interest in these types of videos.
