I just read the 'Health and safety' notice outside the lab! Larry is a man after my own heart this morning. I stayed up hours too late to see the northern lights and one coffee is barely hacking it now. Need some Super-Coffee, Larry!
This is a fantastically detailed ship - thanks for reviewing it @laststandgamers. I can imagine it turning up in an official SE scenario or video. Sabiroids squeezing down those air vents somehow and ambushing the player ?! My only comment from a 'realists' p.o.v. is that the VTOL thrusters would flip the ship over (IRL) since the tilt-thrusters are off-centre. I haven't loaded the BP in yet to know where the CoG is. But this is hardly a complaint, cos we all live with SE physics. It's a beaut of a ship and I look forward to trying it out in-game!
Loved the video @LastStandGamers! Can't wait for the next video man! If I'm remembering correctly, The Wanderer looks like it's built from the Carrack from Star Citizen. Those Lines look pretty similar to be honest. Also, for those playing in the Current season of the Plane Parts Mod Server, I have one more Piece of Soviet/Russian Ordinance for you on your Sukhoi Su-24 "Fencer's" and Su-25 "Frogfoot's" as well as a Little Something for those of you in R.A.B.'s Camp for your Panavia Tornados. Soviet/Russian Ordinance S-24 Rocket: • Length: 7 ft. 8 in. (2.358 Meters or 4.717 Small Grid Blocks). • Diameter: 9.4 in. (0.241 Meters or 0.482 Small Grid Blocks). • Launch Weight: 520 lbs (235 kgs). • Warhead: Blast Fragmentation. • Warhead Weight: 273 lbs (123 kgs). • Range: 1.2 to 1.9 Miles (1.949 km to 3.086 km). • Blast Radius: 300 to 400 meters (975 to 1,300 Feet) (RV-24 Proximity Fuse, which can allow for a Detonation 3 Meters or 9 ft. 9 in. above the Ground). R.A.B.'s Panavia Tornados MW-1 Munitions Dispenser (German Design similar to the British JP233 Submunition Delivery System): • Filling: 30 SG-357 Cratering Bomblettes, 215 HB-876 Anti-Personnel Mines. • Filling Weight: SG-357 57 lbs (25.764 kgs), HB-876 5.3 lbs (2.395 kgs). Sadly, this is all that's available on Wikipedia, but from what I can see in the Pictures of German and British Tornados using these Munitions Dispensers it takes up about a third of the Length of the Aircraft and it's nestled along the Centerline between the Jet Intakes leaving you guys with about 3 Small Grid Blocks worth of Width and about 11 Small Grid Blocks worth of Length to work with. Alternatively, R.A.B. Could build a couple of B61 Modular Yield Nuclear Bombs as the Tornados could Carry 4 of these Bombs (1 on each of the 4 Under-wing Pylons) and that's if They feel the Need to have them for Potential Use on the Server, Let alone if they'd be allowed to have them in the First Place. If they have some Armor to Deal with, then they could carry 12 Brimestone Air-to-Surface Missiles with each Launcher holding 3 Missiles. If you want the Specs to some more Russian and American Ordinance, you can check in the Comments section below The Server Tour video that Aaron uploaded about a week ago where he showcased R.A.B.'s Base and their Tornados. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! I'll have the Specs for the Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot Ground Attack Aircraft in the Next video and then the Su-24 Fencer, the A-6E Intruder and finally the A-7E Corsair II.
"older build" "been around quite some time now" uploaded to workshop 30 july 2023, so less than two months? unless there are old versions of it, its new!
This is gorgeous ok... the design is very good but... I play on some pvp heavy servers, we do try to jeep things beautifully built of course but... Never mix grid sizes dam so much can go to hell.
OH this is from another game was about to say this is the dumbest design I've seen along with other ships with exposed command centers Even if it's exploring should protect critical parts like bridges behind armor something glass is not.
Depends on how you define "better". I'd say no because Space Engineers ships can be bigger and you have a lot more control over what you build. But Starfield certainly did better on story and immersion. It's another case of each have their strengths and weaknesses.
Would You take a look at mine? It's called Logos, I've been working on it for quite some time to make it go anywhere and I've used pretty much every block available 😃 Also, it's both vanilla and survival ready
@@DovaDude In order to be functional and able to get on planets it needed to be very compact, plus flat surfaces allow for customizations I got many variants due to this, from carriers to warships
I like these alternative looks on Star Citizen ships from other games, It's always nice to see how to interior could have been done in different ways.
Very interesting take on the Anvil Carrack from Star Citizen.
Ah yes, the Carrack

The Carrack. Beautiful build!

Wanderer? Thats a Carrack from Star Citizen xD
Thanks for taking a look at the ship, the thrust issue I think is caused by scripts being disabled in the world.
Nice Carrack!
In defense of the mod author the Carrack is even more buggy and prone to exploding in StarCitizen so if anything it's an improvement.
I haven't had my carrack randomly explode ever
The Carrack don't randomly explode, it's really the most stable ship I have had. What did you do to make it exploded ?
@@-JustHuman- it isnt dependant on the ship, its just SC being SC. any ship can explode randomly at any time
8:58 back up through the lovely bloody corridor 😂
this looks sick
Yes you can copy my homework, just change it up a little so no one notices
This ship is adorable 😊
Uuuuh, HOW???? Like seriously, how is something like this even possible!?!?
nice job, same one is fan of StarCitizen ;)
The amount of time this would've taken!
Gosh would love to make something like it!
Ah yes, "Wanderer Class Expedition Vessel". Definitely not a Carrack ;)
isnt that just the Carrack From star citizen

This ship looks so fragile and durable at the same time
this looks to be intended to be used with the mod that lets you control subgrid thrusters
someone needs to make an infero
it looks like the carrik of star citizen
i think the mag was to high on the connector for the small ship
for some reason this ship sort of looks like the shuttle from the VR game farpoint, anyone know what im talking about?

I was told starfield did ship building better than space engineers...

You were lied to.
@@DovaDude no argument here. 1,300 hours vs 50 hours isn't a competition. Starfield is an OK game, but far from great.
