I like how this song references the beach scene. In the anime Mafuyu understands the meaning of that scene during his performance (don't know about the manga as I haven't read it yet), so having it mentioned in the lyrics itself is a nice way to wrap it up, even if the scene itself wasn't included in the live action.
I have not watch the anime yet, I started watching the live drama and I had mixed emotions about the ending. I'm happy that Mafuyu able to find his voice and that Ue confesses and kiss him but I was expecting to hear more stories about Haruki and Akihiko with his ex but they left that hangin. So hopefully there's season 2.
The anime digs even deeper for both couples so i recommend u watch it although the most details are in the manga. No confirmation for live action to have an s2 so yeah ya can try those two for now

Little disappointed that they didn't have an actor for Shizusumi too. Like he's a pretty big character in the future

最近というか去年頃からBL漫画や小説を実写ドラマ化実写映画化したりどんどん世の中にBLが広まって行くよね。これで批判だらけでその役をやってる俳優さんを悪く言う人が増えるか増えないか凄い不安なんだけど、やっぱりBLと言うか同性愛を題材にした物は良いよね。こうやって実写化するだけで色んな人の目に入って､どんどんどんどん広まって行っていつか。本当にいつかでいいんだけど同性愛もいい事なんだな〜とか、同性愛も異性愛も変わらないじゃん。って思ってくれる人が増えるといいな😊
