Thank you for this info…. I’ve priced out propane and oil tanks … one eighth the cost of buying in the US. The smaller business in the West paying Western prices can’t innovate or compete.
Very good products and very competitive prices.
I understand that China is now mass-producing MRI machines for hospitals and clinics and that the price is only 10% the price of a similar MRI machine produced in Europe or USA. Soon, the US government will accuse China of overcapacity. But China will not care because all the hospitals and clinics in the Global South countries will have MRI machines at reasonable price.
$1 for a T-shirt...as a consumer, i am very happy! glad to see a number of foreign buyers there.

$1 is not very cheap if consider all the import duties, customs duties and landing price. This can easily double to $2

Barret my good man I think you just stumbled into a new business model. If you refine and package this idea properly you could have a billion dollar industry on your hands.
Inflation in western countries will shoot through the roof without Chinese goods. Tariffs are raised in many countries not just to "contain" China (which is impossible to contain) but to extract "hidden tax" on their own citizens. Many western countries have been broke ever since the 2008 financial melt-down, compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic and the American Fed rate hikes. The tariff squeezes more revenue from their own people to offset the national deficits.

8:42 this is probably because they negotiate the price with customers individually, they see you are doing a video and they don't want to compromise their negotiating position with a video that's fixed in time. If you came back with genuine interest, then, you'd talk prices, and you'd have a rough idea what you were going to offer to pay because in that position, you are already comparing multiple different products, so you know roughly what the price is.
