This is why creative directors make a ton of cash. They can make shit like this up and believe in it, and treat you like you're an idiot for questioning it, despite it being an utter shed full of bollocks

i had met him in mumbai, he was part of the publicis global creative resource. i was working with publicis that point in time. guys from all the publicis offices in india gathered there to display their work n all. so he picked work that were good to go and commented on some that could be entered after his inputs. it was a great experience. above all, being an icon, he was so grounded.

This guy is the founder and head of Droga5, according to Forbes "the best and most creative agency of today" (2012) Also the most awarded person in the history of the Cannes International Festival of Creativity. You should take a look at their work, this guy is a genius.

this is from a CD that came in a book called "Creative Leaps" by Michael Newman, a creative director who worked at Saatchi Australia.

    it's called metric-ingitis,
I recently read about how to know the viral coefficient of an ad with a formula by Eric Ries, author of the Lean Startup.
    Unfortunately, he was not joking..

So essentially experience counts most, right. Does this still apply in a world where twenty somethings drive 7-figure revenues with direct advertising ads? ;)
