Thank you for the video. I am amazed by how much content you've manage to produce across your website + youtube (and I haven't even looked at your Tiktok etc!)
Her:“Small shift” Me: “the leaf had shifted an inch to the left” Literature teachers: “this portray how he had changed his personality and behavior mostly due to the fact that someone close to him died. The fact that he mentioned ‘inch’ tells us he is from America and that his friend or someone else close to him died in a school shooting which cause him to shift his personality just as the leaf shifted and inch. Also, he mentions how it shifted to the ‘left’ symbolizing that the change in his behavior and personality may have been in the wrong direction since if it was a shift to the right, it would be in the right direction” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Additionally, the usage of the past form of the copula 'is' ('had') shows how the character was so ensconced in the comfortable oblivion of his thoughts that he only noticed the leaf's movements after a considerable length of time. The case can be presented that the leaf was not the beginning of his shift in thinking, but the end- as his personality finally settled into this role of this estranged older adult, the leaf shifted from the shadow of the tree to out onto the grass.
i speak 3 and learning one at the moment, and i’m pretty sure the reason is hard its bc you didnt get used to the exam structure as i struggle with that too
I m always confused with the word essay and descriptive altogether. I Though an essay implies always a thesis, something you need to proved, so i don´t know if a descriptive essay implies that. Can you explain it to me please. or it would be very helpful if you did some videos giving us some examples of it. Can a descriptive essay have 3 short paragraphs? . im confused with expository text and descriptive essays .
@@mk-hc3pj Please tell the tips; I do not write adequately and have a limited vocabulary. Plus in narrative and descriptive what you recommend? And what makes your grade above B or a C?
Hi. Your vids are really helping me.. i have a question in mind. Can you add humans like characters in your description. I have a exam tmmr . And im not sure
Put yourself in the shoes of that object. How does it feel? For example if you were given an image of a decaying tree, you could write about how it feels its time coming, its branches wearing down etc. Personification goes a long way in this part.
Yes but it's slightly more challenging. If you're writing from first person perspective from descriptive writing, make sure you're describing everything you see as if it's a freeze frame / nothing massive is moving. As if you were describing a picture.

Yes you can do that too!
How do you talk about the weather and stuff like that if the question says to describe the most interesting piece of art you have ever seen?
