I made something similar to it but whit diferente pieces, ill explain them Camel:Moves like a horse but it moves forming a 3x1 L. General:Moves like a King and a horse. Hawk:Combines a bishop and a horse. Elephant:Combines a bishop and a rook. Amazon:Combines a Queen and a horse

Idea: make a chess variant where the king is a lion and the pieces serving it are all animals(make a big board like this one)and call it massive chess 3.0 or something like that(also make a water source that encapsulates the board where the marine animals that live in the water dwell) and the lion can jump in the water because they are known to be good swimmers but only the lion can go in the water. Hopefully I explained everything and if you have any doubts about this variant you can ask me

Capturing half of a massive piece (like a massive rook) should turn it into a normal version (normal rook).

Capturing a 2x2 piece should turn it into an angle piece (or a 1x2 one), and capturing a 1x3 piece should turn it into a 1x2 piece or a disjoint piece

It would probably take forever for normal pawns to reach the other side of the board, so it was a very good move to change how the pawn moves…
