+warfighter1988 Me too! Just finished the game. The ending was very bittersweet. Although even more depressing, it kind of makes you feel like shit about your own life. Time to go back to my dead-end job....wishing you were still a pirate.
I don't care what anyone says, Black Flag is a great AC game. Yes it's mainly sea based, and yes it's more of a pirate game, but all of the Assassin's Creed games follow one storyline, and without Edward's storyline it would feel incomplete. There's the classic saga (Ezio and Altair) and the Kenway Saga (Edward and Connor), and the Kenway Saga wouldn't be shit without AC4. This is probably my favorite AC game for the gameplay, as it's the one game in the series I just thoroughly enjoyed playing.
"I don't care what anyone says" lolol literally no one disses the game... AC4 has been acclaimed by both fans and critics alike (look it up on Wikipedia) and some people/critics have even proclaimed it the 2nd best AC game after AC2.
I finished this game today and i cried at the ending and i've come here to watch the ending again and cried again ... it is so beautiful don't judge me
Christopher Teresi He is dead infact all the people whom edward see on the table are dead ... He is regretting that he has lost all his friends because of his ambition to become rich
The ending was the most emotional and peaceful endings ive seen. Were as rouges ending was very fucked up. Finding out you killed arnos father. Like woah.
Yea when I was playing the game I remember watching this video and they were going to be hard but their level 36 also did you notice he hasn't upgraded his ship at all
hey nothing is wrong with being a templar! you chose your side by assasins and i chose with templars. Its just what your goal is? what i mean is templars are not evil side and assasins are not good side.
No Edward actually trained him to be an assassin but died b4 he could ever tell his son about the cause. Haytham was thus adopted by templars. Finally at a later stage he knows the truth (that his father wanted him to be an assassin) but now it was too late for him to get back to his fathers legacy from the templars
Abstergo wanted the player to upgrade their ship so they could take out the Man O' Wars. Guess they didn't think of the fact that you could just swim around them.
Same here man! Kid James, thatch, Roberts and others... This is almost as touching as ezio's storyline. Even though less parkour spots I guess lol but still, now am just sitting here with other side missions. But since I have finished the game, I don't wanna move Edward , who else gets this feeling?
***** Haha well somewhat, others were actually one of those "along the way friends" that just happens to spend time only when they end up seeing eachother.
Mr. Clean LATE ass reply but Bonnet, according to AC4's codex, decided to take on a full Man O' War as his first target with his schooner. He lost that battle. But that's not what happened in real life.
The ending was kind of sad...I mean...almost everyone died...even his wife...I felt kind of empty...what a cruel world, man...this pirate life haha Even with the game showing Edward doing fine with a new family in the epilogue, it's still a fucking sad story
Sam Vinson Yes, he was betrayed by Reginald Birch who was secretly a templar. He hired five mercenaries to assassinate Edward in his own home. They also ended up selling his daughter Jennifer Scott to turkish slavers, and Birch took Haytham under his wing and trained him to become a templar.
The ending with Anne singing that beautiful song and Edward seeing all his old, deceased friends was really emotional. Assassin's Creed has a special place in my heart and they always make me fall for their details, characters and the lives you get lost in. A huge thanks to Ubisoft and to you Brad for providing this for my viewing :) And also, remember that, nothing is true, everything is permitted.
Right when she started singing I had the same reaction as Edward, it was like the first time I really felt an Assassins Creed characters struggle, and then when you see your daughter it melts away,
Aww! That simple yet beautiful reunion with Jenny brought tears to my eyes. Especially with that beautiful song in the background. Best initial ending of an Assassin's Creed game in my opinion (no the epilogues don't count) Haytham was a cute little bugger... too bad it all goes to hell
Besides the medicore last mission, the overall ending was great and surprisely emotionally. Just seeing all the characters who had died before was really sad :, ( . But also it was happy seeing Edward meeting his daughter for the first time and the song that was sung at the end was also well done. The last cut scene was particularly interesting too because we get Haytham and we all know what happens to him...
xD love how you think Brad, last video: "i'm upgrading my ship even though I probably won't be using it anymore" this time: "i can't get past the man o' wars with my ship without getting spotted, so i'll just swim there"
It is so sad to see how his friends were continuing to grow in numbers just to lose them all in one snap. Seeing Bonnet in that chair with everyone just brings me tears to my eyes

Your videos have been a great way for me to find solutions to difficult missions in the assassins creed series. I just beat this for the second time over the weekend and the jackdaw was only upgraded to 78%
Brad, a little constructive criticism now... You should play all your games like you do Dead Rising 3. I didn't watch the entire AC4, but seeing how you've got minimal upgrades for the Jackdaw, and minimal upgrades for Edward, it's just not fun. You play the bare skeleton of the game, but this game offers so much more. Harpooning is just one of those things, that if you didn't do any crafting or side missions, you didn't get to do. Only one diving mission? And only one fort? These things are way too fun to miss out, and the game gets a lot more fun when you're pimped out because you fight bigger battles, take on more ships, and destroy legendary ships. If you don't like the game as much as Dead Rising or think it's too much of a challenge, then don't do it. I'm not saying you should stop making videos, far from it, I love all your stuff, but still, a little more effort into this game would've been a lot better. Anyways, I hope the fans don't rage at me for saying this, but as a viewer who enjoys your content very much, I can honestly say I'd enjoy it a lot more if you'd put more effort into every individual game, instead of playing 3 games at the same time, and not giving any of them an honest shot.
I'm a big AC fan and I really enjoyed the series up until they released Odyssey. I'm a complete history nerd as well, which is one of the reasons I played the first game when it came out. I just miss the vibe of coming home from school and getting lost in a world where I could go to Renaissance Italy or the carribean is the early eighteenth century. Or any of the magical locations you can travel to during the series. This game especially made an impression on me, a kid who loved history, loved video games and was just OBSESSED with pirates. This ending scene was very emotional, it concluded a magnificent rollercoaster ride of a storyline and the song that played during the scene(The parting glass), was a song my dad used to play to me when I was a toddler. Everything about the game was incredible, I miss it so much
First question:what happened with the fat guy from the beginning? Second question:how did he got do far in life? Third question: how was the little girl in the ending?(parents?)
Stede Bonnet was tried and executed for piracy. Edward went back to England because the King greeted him for hunting down Templars (Torres, Rogers, Hornigold) who worked against the King. You can hear Adèwale telling Edward that Woodes Rogers survived Edward’s assassination but was returned to England and tried there for treason. Jennifer Scott Kenway was born after Edward went to the West Indies. She was raised by her mother Caroline who then recently passed away. Edward returned to England and married another and had Haythem Kenway. You can hear Edward telling Haythem that they can cancel the Opera and have Chocolate at White’s with Haythem’s mother who was Jennifer Scott’s stepmother.
So Brad, Question... Did you not level the Jackdaw as you went along? How did you not take over more forts? Those Man of Wars at the end shouldn't have been a problem... Edward even says something along the lines of plowing right through them to let you know you're suppose to battle them before hand... which is why the cutscene starts with you on the ship.
in the secret ending his son is haytham, which looks nothing like him, gets killed by connor sooo easily and we dont know if the kenway generation passed on by connor because its a mystery plus in ac syndicate,(SPOILERS) Jacob had to assassinate a guy in the similar place like that so either it was in america or england or they have both in both countries.
Hay than, the little **** ended up being a Templar and killed his father. Luckily, he was killed, I think, by the Assassins... It came as a shock to me in Assassins Creed Syndicate.
A fitting ending to the game. Captain Kenway finally managed to settle down, and raise a family of his own. On the other hand, back in the current time. A new sage had been born! What da fuk! Did anyone else's minds explode? I can't be the only one who was flooded with questions.
I cry every time when i see this ending. Thats so sad when Edward finds out his wife is dead & he imagines his dead friends be all there with him. I wanted to Mary read live but no she died like my heart is still broken by that. Well Anna Bonny survived but still I think Mary was better. Sad/Happy ending because he finally meets his daughter.

Anyways, I hope the fans don't rage at me for saying this, but as a viewer who enjoys your content very much, I can honestly say I'd enjoy it a lot more if you'd put more effort into every individual game, instead of playing 3 games at the same time, and not giving any of them an honest shot.
me that finished it by beating the both man o war in a halfy upgraded jackdaw: WHAT
Cant believe its been 6 years since this amazing game cane out after that mess of odyssey these early games are like therapy
dude i love how haytham is a child
After watching these for years didn't realise Edward was haythams farther ain't it same haytham from the 3rd game
Yup , edward -> haytham -> connor, thats the bloodline.
I think that Black Flag is easily the best Assassin's Creed there is... FRIKIN AMAZINFG
NOOOOOOOOO Brad why did you end it like that i wanted to hear your thoughts on how it ended
yup, same. i came here only for his reaction. but didnt get anything
he was crying
Like we all.
Nick Ghilea Answer 1:He was executed for piracy.Didnt understand your second question.Answer 3:That girl is his daughter.
You could hear 2 guards talking about his execution in the mission where you have to sneak into the prison and rescue Mary and Anne.
This game had been fun to play.. This brings back memories of the game. Cheers man!
in the secret ending his son is haytham, which looks nothing like him, gets killed by connor sooo easily and we dont know if the kenway generation passed on by connor because its a mystery plus in ac syndicate,(SPOILERS) Jacob had to assassinate a guy in the similar place like that so either it was in america or england or they have both in both countries.
Hay than, the little **** ended up being a Templar and killed his father. Luckily, he was killed, I think, by the Assassins... It came as a shock to me in Assassins Creed Syndicate.
i fine it was expecting a reference to edward in that game as he went back to england
TomoCooking killing the blighters leader in a theatre ha no relavency to the kenways
Yeah, Haytham is the father of Connor Kenway. So Edward is Connors Grandfather.
A fitting ending to the game. Captain Kenway finally managed to settle down, and raise a family of his own.
On the other hand, back in the current time. A new sage had been born! What da fuk! Did anyone else's minds explode? I can't be the only one who was flooded with questions.
This dude saved me! Thanks and love your videos man!
That musical place is the first level in assasin's creed 3 and hatham
I don't know about you guys but TheRadBrad is my favourite AC walkthrough TH-camr
She sang Beth's song!!!! That's actually sick
It's an Irish folklore song. Beth just sang it and now Anne. But it's fucking awesome anyway.
Ruxandra TheEmpress What's the name of the song may I ask?
Ivan Huynh The Parting Glass
Thank you! :D
28:40 Flying chair
Hilarious! ha, ha
its pretty amazing how far he got without upgrades
So Templars finally have a sample of Sage. Or should I say John from IT?
i played this for 3 days straight. done, and i look at progression. 46% FUUUUUU
I legit cried to the ending scene
Brad why didn't you show the End Credits, it show appreciation to the developers and often has extra cut-scenes.
omg little haythem and isn't that the same theater as in the beginning of ac3
Yeah it is, Haytham even said that
It is April the 11th, 2020. There has been 5 main Assassin's Creed games since. This is still the best that has ever come out.
Dude I beat the Man o wars but that was because I maxed out my ship
