- Winter in the UK means short days, with the sun rising after 8 am and setting before 4 pm! This makes it easy to see a sunrise..... unless it's cloudy and the skies are bruised. Today is a brief glimpse at the Geordie shoreline, from two perspectives: early morning beach walk and sleepy harbour in 'challenging' weather; and a midday trip to the mouth of the Tyne for some fish and chips once enjoyed by Jimi Hendrix.

I love rock trivia Jimmy and have visited many places with rock history attached to them. I remember one guy just couldn’t understand it….before revealing that he like visiting the sites of old battles lol. It’s strange seeing bits of Blighty in the Winter. It reminds me of the scene Robin Hood where the foreign soldier keeps saying “Quick, it will be dark soon” even though it was midday
The fish and chips thing has been disputed.... but....... There were usually two shows at the Agogo - you'd play downstairs to the U18s early evening and then up in the Jazz cafe later in the night.... so Jimi and Chas had about three hours to get to Tynemouth (10-15 mins away), eat chips and get back for the second performance. Hahaha, I said that a fair bit too.. there really isn't much daylight at all. There are specific busking stories outside named pubs, but no photos or anything.
Great stuff Jimmy but i feel i need to write to the JB Wanders Complaints Dept. Twice ive seen you having curry sauce with Fish & Chips. 🤮 Must be a southern thing because in the Midlands its Mushy Peas lol! Ps best line of the vldeo "Even the Dogs got Tattoo's in there" spat my drink out laughing at that 😂🤣😂
My Mum and my Sister always have mushy peas but they are filth to my taste buds haha. Salt, vinegar and curry sauce for me! I think the most English thing I've seen is a Wigan Kebab - basically a pie in a sandwich... get in ma belllllly haha. Mate, that pub is incredibly dodgy considering where it is located... all the rascals from the flats drink there... even the old ladies are a bit intimidating 😂
Mushy peas with lots of vinegar. All day long. Not his fault he is from down sarf.
Wild and rugged for sure JB. My brother is Jimi 😂 he changed his name from Jimmy as a kid and it stuck. Now that is good-looking fish and chips. Cheers

Haha... the 27th December was the best sunrise I've seen in years.... guess who speaks French and forgot their phone and camera? Moi!!!

We are living in insane times and the really insane thing is if you know the truth, you are regarded as mad! The government try to out the population in every way they can and the people are fine with it. That is insanity! Rant over, good vid JB!

I thought my town was bad charging for parking everywhere you go, I see where they got their ideas from, the freaking UK. All the dang city streets have been turned into bike friendly lanes too.
Hehe good job I had a card with me mate, as cash can't be used for parking anywhere! 🙏🙏✌ I literally had to ask people to stop vomiting the 'news' all over me!
