Hello! I left my betta alone for 5 days cause I was on vacation and I found him pale with stress lines when I came back. He is swimming and eating normanly. Will daily water changes help?
Obviously, Yes! Be sure to use the clean & free chlorine water, adding some pieces of Indian almond leaves and salt will improve the quality of the water as well.
Hello friend! So I have a crowntail betta fish named Tanji I had recently gotten from a friend of mine, I have done some research and gotten him a 10 gallon tank with some plants and substrate. Before I gotten him he was in a 1 gallon tank and looked a bit stressed. and unhappy. A few days later when I had finally got him he looked pale and I think has fin rot, shows little movement when swimming (only sticking to the bottom), and whenever I check on him it when he trys to swim he does it by the side sometimes. I have tried to see what I can do to help him and some sites say epsom salt baths or some types of products to use when a betta fish is sick. I'm hoping you can help me or if anyone knows what to do and have any advice I would really appreciate it. Please help.
Isn't it swim bladder disease? If so, the only way to cure is by doing a surgery or there are a number of ways to reduce stress in him as this condition makes him prones to get stressed Watch this for the methods th-cam.com/video/wy0RK9pDjkg/w-d-xo.html or access my guide book for details here 👉 www.yaquatic.my.id/
Swim bladder disease is reaction to high ammonia. 20% water change. Broad spectrum antibiotic and some treatment for fish with aloe to replace slime layer and promote healing
sir urgent problem!!!!! my newly bought halfmoon betta is lethargic and not eating he is often laying at bottom of the tank and just comes up a few times to take breath its been 2 days since i bought him and i did acclimate him decently is it a serious issue or will he just recover on his own as he gets adjusted??? what to dooo????
Hi ! My male betta fish is about to turn 7 months old .. for the last 2 days he is super inactive and not eating food and not even coming to my finger like he used to.. I noticed in the past week there was many leftover food and tank was getting dirty super fast so i noticed i was overfeeding but now I stopped and I cleaned his tank multiple times after knowing and he was normal but it's been around weeks now and now he is not normal .. his fins are closed and I don't know what to do about it.. could it be the water temperature??? How can I fix the issue?
Sometimes water temperatures could be the issue, check the temperature levels, if you find it too low, use a heater to adjust the temperature and try to place a piece of dried catappa leaf
@bettaedu4392 Hi again .. my betta fish was actually sick and the treatment we gave him didn't work because it was a type of food and he didn't eat and he ended up dying today's morning.... thank you for your help tho.
@@neogutzz oh i didn't mix them both, im sorry if i made you understand what i said, my brother has another betta fish in another tank and i just put two of their tanks in front of mine! i know they're gonna kill each other sorry if i made you misunderstand this :)
this is the worst way of keeping a betta i have ever seen. ignore this channel and check out normal betta tanks. betta tanks should be full of plants, have a heater and a filter.

Can you use talisay extract instead of Indian almond leaf?

is bettas tail browning fin rot? becuase ive been treating my male/blue/betta with ali bettafix to heal its fins its doing better than yesterday
Yes it is, one of the indications that could lead to fin rot, always keep your tank clean
Betta fix will kill your fish tho. Consider a different treatment

@bettaedu4392 I don't have a heater because the room temperature is always about 75-80 degrees so do i need to buy it?

So sorry to hear that :(
My fish is stressed out because of the new fish I added. Should I take the other fish out and see if he will recover?
Yes
Why do you not consider city water hardness before these recommendations?
Ah ya missed that, better to check the water hardness level before. Thank you.
I use rain water for my betta which is already having low pH! So can I add almond leaves in it?
Apply aquarium salt or epsom salt, it helps to neutralise pH level otherwise you can use a little bit of baking soda to raise the pH
@@bettaedu4392 Ok done will try
Will you please write out the name of what the leaf is called?
Indian almond leaf / catappa leaf, both are the same property.
Should i use sea salt or iodized salt
For betta purpose, better to use the ones without iodine: sea salt.
Is beta fish changing color natural ?
In some conditions like stress, their color will change drastically, but for a long period there is a color mutation process in betta fish.
Did you change the leaf on the second day or is it the same leaf?
Still the same, change the leaf at the same time when you change the water in the tank.
i mixed my 2nd betta fish wwith my first one! it made my first betta fish really happy :) thank you!
hey, you're not supposed to put betta fish with other betta fish. they are called fighting fish for a reason, they will literally kill each other.

The fact is that my 2 years old betta fish now is in a very good condition.
Have you ever kept a betta fish before?
