Wow! Very skilled. Most of us could learn how to foil by the time we could figure out how to do what you do!

Excellent job with fabrication and installation.
In addition to making it easier to go upwind and easier to learn - the centerboard creates significant lift upwind (and forward) complementing the lift of the wing downwind (and forward). This squeezing can double the power compared with simply edging a board with only a tail fin, so you can ride in lighter wind.

Great idea. Simple and it works

How do you feel about the placement of the center board? I’m doing the same thing and feel it could be placed up toward the nose a bit. Your thoughts?

    Hi Andrew,
If you need to do a self rescue, do you empty the wing? Or you just let it drag?
Thanks for the video - I am considering to start wing Sup!

Are you sure you needed to sacrifice that fin? Couldnt you use that fin as a center board?

...it woos painful also to me to watch destroying it! Probably that fin will be enough and more speedy. Or he can do some kind of temporary sandwich around it and make it bigger , with all that skill. But congratulation to Andrew for whole job-I also have to do something similar but I dont have hart to risk destroying boards....removable side fins are another solution...

The Boat industry still use epoxy on wood as it bonds better than polyester. Vinylester-styrene is an in between that works better on wood but has a price point close to polyester-styrene resins.

Those side fins are just slowing you down
They are for redirecting up and down the face of a wave- so they have are angled a bit….and that causes drag
Try it you may like it?

Did you get the wing from aliexpress? Could you do a review of the wing?

I used to bring along a paddle as well.... i learned using a paddle board with SUPwinder from slingshot... too bad it was only useful for a month as i progressed eventually onto a foil board...

Nice to hear someone else experience, I've been out a few more times and already I feel I've out grown the SUP and surf wing.

You say you feel you've outgrown your set up. Does that mean you are moving on to full foiling? Is there another combinations of SUP and wing that would be more challenging or exciting without moving to a foil?
