Devs probably see Myers in the top played killers so they think he shouldn’t be touched, then again like half the killers in the top have been changed at least a couple of times.
I mean, they think Trapper is fine the way he is. So, they clearly have no idea what the players think, and don't listen to anything we say ever. Also, they probably don't even play the game ever, and if they do, are incredibly low MMR, so they don't understand why some things need changed.

@@MerrStudio No it's not the Devs, the Devs are really trying, sometimes they make (VERY) bad decisions but we should be grateful because it could be a lot worse even though it could also be way better but the main issue is the code, that is why DBD Mobile is pretty much better in every aspect.
The real question is: how many times does this bug come into play? It requires you to actively abuse it, and to do that you might need to waste time so it triggers

Honestly Myers is one of the best executed killers in terms of staying "lore accurate". In that I mean when you play Myers, it really feels like you're playing as Micheal Myers and no other licensed killer comes close to that feeling which is why I really love playing him.
His add-ons change his playstyle than any other killer Tombstone plays different from tombstone piece which plays different than scratch mirror which plays different than vanity mirror which plays different than base kit.
So, as someone who complained about bugs on Trickster that are in the game for 8 months now, I suddenly feel humbled and at the same time lose a lot of the leftovers of that emotion that was called "hope" once upon a time...
Makes sense. They may have 1000+ employees but it appears only a few are allowed to work a week and they can only work on a handful of things a month. The rest are working on cosmetics.

That dev worked on the two most uniquely mechanic killers, every killer since them has not been interesting at all. I think DBD main puppeteer was that dev, he had the gameplay in mind and at heart. Its why most people felt Billy and blight were balanced, yet extremely skillful killers. Directly proportionate to the attention given too them, by that one dev. The rest of the team are LGBTABCD team'd out with rainbow cosmetics to see anything else. Sad really.

Let’s go otz! I got 1000 hours yesterday on dead by daylight and I am extremely proud of myself for sticking through even the bad games and I’ve actually got some friends I play with now which is so much kore fun than the past 900 hours of solo queue and you were definitely a major factor in keeping me playing this game you’re extremely entertaining and informative. A rare duo in the same body thank you otz.
I thought for the longest time that was intentional, that the less juice you have when you kill someone the more juice you'll get afterwards. It just never crossed my mind that I could have just been a bug it seems so intentional of award for not just instantly using it and killing
I lowkey enjoy that Myers has been touched so so little by the developers over the years. Along the swamp maps, Myers is one of the last relicts of old Dead by Daylight, and it gives me goosebumps.
Realistically, there is probably some licensing issue preventing BHVR from changing Myers. He was the first licensed killer so it is possible that the contract was not as loose as later ones and included language about gameplay changes being dependent on licensor approval. That is the only explanation I can think of, really.

I'd be happy if Myers even got so much as a QoL update just adding a stalk completion indicator on the HUD that works like Ghost Face's. But I'm afraid of them changing something that breaks some of the most fun builds in the entire game for me if they end up doing an update pass or rework.
Same. He really needs some QoL changes. I want to be able to decide, when I want to enter tier 3, instead of accidently getting it, because I was to late to stop for a 99ed stalk meter. It would also not make achievements like Evil Incarnate feel like torture. And give him a better early game, like at least make him 4.4m/s in tier 1, like all ranged killers.
8:47 , I gotta say that I used to find this a clever trick and when I watched pros do it, it made me feel good or when killers see this, they're like dang I know what they doing. However, it's an outdated tech that's drilled so deep in muscle memory and tradition. The fact is that locker grab search is about 5 seconds. A successful attack cooldown is 2.7 seconds and a surv pickup animation is 3 seconds after it was nerfed some years ago. Occasionally, a surv crawling away after getting downed could add 0.5 extra secs. This isn't including non-optimal killer lag pickups, when a killer gets lazy, too busy looking at chat or even the time lag between them pressing the space button if they weren't spamming it. However, the real killer here is, see this surv could have just either attempted to loop, do a spin tech or just HOLD W in a straightest line you could manage. The killer moves 15% faster but it still takes time to reach you. That would have bought a couple extra seconds of time. However, if the plan was to buy time, surv should let killer mori them but the surv was thinking of denying the killer the satisfaction despite being on death hook. I know that but just proving my point in this situation. There are some moments when this tech actually buys more time but it's usually when the killer is close enough that holding W is pointless. You could make the killer smack the locker instead. However, even without the killer doing a missed attack, there's still a few occasions the killer would waste time. The point is that this tech should go into a myth buster episode or something. It only has 25% of uses whereas 75% its better to keep running and get downed and picked up rather than a locker hop. Otherwise surv just be getting put on the shoulder already and sent to the hook.
I was honestly thinking that this was heading in a different direction. A similar bug is that sometimes when you finish a mori, instead of going back to Tier 2, you go ALL THE WAY TO TIER 1, it's only happened twice to me because I rarely play Myers, let alone using the tombstone piece.
I hope they make it so he can go back to tier 1. And instead of stalking going to stages, he just has a stalk pool for all survivors. And survivors earn stalk back for doing objectives. Going to tier one takes away 10% of stalk, going to tier 2 takes away 20%, and going to tier 3 takes away 30% as well as however long you are in tier 3. The pool stalk limit would be as much as a hypothetical you fully stalk everyone. Jumping from tier 1 to tier 3 would be really great and myers would become more scary as you would need to know where he’s at. Also make it so stalking From far away is more rewarding than up close. They can bring back the sound Que from When he first came out for survivors to let them know he’s been stalking you for awhile. His new iris could be when you switch tiers there is no sound cue that plays to let survivors know what tier you are on. And no sound cue to let survivors know when you are stalking for awhile. But keep scratched mirror myers.

With the shere volume of cosmetics that exist for almost every other killer in the game, my hunch is behaviors deal with the halloween property no longer allows them to do anything that would be marketable, i.e. announce a rework, add new cosmetics, change his power or mori, etc. Perks make sense in being exempt from this, as any adjustments they could make would be relegated to patchnotes and are purely gameplay related; to the licenseholder, this means nothing, but with every good balance update comes more reason to buy the dlc that already existed, which must be *all* they agreed to. The fact that Freddy is in a virtually identical state confirms this to me, and with the next few chapters all being *different* IPs and franchises theyre actually interested in, i dont suspect thatll change.
The rollback you had when the kill prompt was there is due to the way the game synchronizes the players with the server. The local (on your pc) state of the game is never the real (on the server) state of the game. There are many ways to synchronize those different states and some ways prioritize the client (your machine) responsiveness, which means the games acts like you can do everything in the local state of the game (which can be different from the real one) and then synchronize into the real one where your actions were not the same.
Truly unfortunate that one of, if not the most iconic horror icon is essentially rendered useless in a supposedly horror game. I hope they give our boy Michael some love at some point soon.
All this killer needs is to stay undetectable during Tier 2 and have a faster speed vault at 10 percent. Also increase the distance of his lunge attack by half of whatever coup gives you and the speed of his pallet breaks to 15 percent. Gens should take 7 percent damage after kicking them by default during Tier 3. Rework his add-ons, and he would be a solid mid tier character.
one comical thing for me is that right after BHVR released THE joke of a killer, they created Nurse. I think they just created the lowest and highest points in any tierlist and then started to create killers with intention to put them somewhere between Myers and Nurse

They did say Freddy will get a rework soon, and myers kinda soon after. I was excited, But after seeing the most recent roadmap until november and Freddy is not even on their. Myers rework confirmed in 2089 lol

I’ve noticed this for years when playing Myers and I never paid any mind to it. I guess I just assumed it was a reward for clutching the tombstone? Never thought it was a bug. It happens to me a lot because I suck at chasing.
Funny thing, this is how full Tombstone works as well. If you're fine with the downsides that Tombstone gives, it can be an even stronger version of this same idea, as you don't even need to time the kills.
The reason Judith's Tombstone is bad is because 9% speed penalty is MASSIVE. Yes, Play with your food can nulify it, but imagine tombstone piece with no downsides on top of play with your food. 130 speed Myers with an insta kill wheras Judith's tombstone is 121 speed with an insta kill.
@@AaronScotz having played with both, we see it more as a trade-off. the speed penalty in exchange for multiple instant kills early (for as early as you can with Tombstone anyways) is worth it to us. admittedly, it's not for everyone but hey, tombstone piece is there to cover that end.
I _hate_ locker jumpers against a Tombstone Myers. I understand it is a viable strategy against them but it makes getting that one achievement so damn hard. If the other three people have already been moried just suck it up and let the Killer be done with the damnable thing already. (It didn't take me _too_ many games to get Evil Incarnate but for three of those games, two in a row even, the last Survivor kept locker jumping me instead of just letting me kill them. I have been thinking about what a possible myers rework could look like, adn i am just going to paste it in here, i know exactly that something like this wont be implimented into the game, but i still think it would be a nice rework. (disclaimer: I did not pay much attention to the exact numbers, they could in theory be changed, i just thought of a way to make myers fun to play as and against whilst still keeping him close to how he is in the movies) Possible Myers rework I apologize if there are some mistakes in this list, english isn’t my first language. I have been playing Myers for a long time now, but I as well es many other people think that he is in a very bad state right now, so I decided to think about ways to possibly rework his kit and following his add-ons. The way I would rework the Shape may seem wired to some of you, so if thats the case, i would be happy to get some feedback. Stalking and getting stronger In general, I would keep the action and movement speed for tier 1, 2 and 3 how they are right now. I would change the amount of stalk needed to level up in a way, that he needs the equivalent of one survivor maxed out to get out of tier 1 and the equivalent of 2 survivors maxed out on stalk to get into tier 3, so he would need to fully stalk 3 survivors. To make up for that fact, the time it takes to fully stalk a survivor is set to 20 seconds, no matter how far the survivor is away from your position. You also stalk 1.5 times as fast when you stand still. Since you can only max out up to 3 survivors when in tier 1 and 2, you still have the ability to stalk when having reached tier 3. Also, because it takes so long for you to reach your tier 3, I would make his tier 3 infinite without any add-ons. Maxed out survivors For each survivor you have maxed out, you receive a permanent 1.5% movement speed bonus and a 10% action speed bonus to all actions whilst also decreasing stun duration by 12.5%. A survivor that has been maxed out will suffer from the oblivious status effect for the remainder of the trial. Add-ons Because of all the changes to his ability, there would have to be some add-on reworks as well. All of the duration add-ons (Blond Hair, Hair Brush, Hair Bow, Lock of Hair and Fragrant Tuft of Hair) would be reworked to decrease the amount of stalk you needed to tier up and to max out survivors. The brown add-on “Blond Hair” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 5%. The yellow add-on “Hair Brush” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 10%. The green add-on “Hair Bow” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 15%. The purple add-on “Lock of Hair” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 20%. The iridescent add-on “Fragrant Tuft of Hair” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 25%. I wouldn’t actually rework the add-on “Tombstone Piece” at all, since it takes a very long time for you to reach tier 3 and if you use it, you wont be able to reach tier 3 again because of the amount of stalk you needed to reach you first tier which the add-on increases. I would make some minor changes to the add-on “Judith’s Tombstone” by changing the amount of stalk needed to reach tier 3 from 200% to 150% so that he can still reach tier 3. Because of the instakill ability of this add-on, Myers wouldn’t be getting any movement speed bonus for fully stalking a survivor. And, finally, the Tombstone add-ons would allow Myers to kill survivors grabbed out of locker. If you have taken the time to read through all of this, thank you, it really means a lot to me, if you have any suggestions, id be happy to hear them
Unforeseen - Dark Devotion - Furtive Chase - FTTE / Vanity Mirror for "Tier 2 Scratched Mirror" it's not just about the undetectability, it's about having the misdirecting, red herring heart beat on the board Double up stalk addons for +65% on the ever-changing Obsession and tier up in seconds every time. It's broken with The Unforeseen Devotion of Furtive Friends -- fantastic build across the board. Bubba? Wesker? Doctor? Pyramid? Forget about it, easy wins
Dunno if this would even be a good change, but making map offerings instead reduce or out right remove the map in question from the available maps for it to rng into. and the hand would prob still be fine to remove the effect from the map offering but would not imo need to have the 4 duplicate map offering thing overwriting it. :D
I don't blame them for not changing Myers, honestly. I get a ton of ideas when I look at other killers for add-ons that could dramatically change their playstyles using existing mechanics. For Myers I get nothing. He's kind of just reverse Ghostface. ...idk. Maybe use the hallucination powers similar to the Unknown? Off the top of my head I would, Replace Myers ability to stalk with an ability to leave clones that stand around and stare like creeps. These clones start invisible and become more noticeable as time goes on, so hiding them near places where survivors will go is important to get the most value out of them. The clones can be placed at corners and will peek around, similar to Ghostface. Clones will begin to become visible over the course of a minute after they are no longer in your terror radius and disappear once within it again. The terror radius would change to standard sized. Myers gains energy when his creeps stare at survivors, and double energy when they stare at someone that's injured. His creeps can only stalk one person in their view and require at least as much of a view of the target as the cameras. There is a prickling sound that plays when you are being observed that gradually gets louder as the clone becomes more visible. The energy from the clones can be used for various debuffs on the survivors and buffs for yourself that can be controlled by your addons or a power selector like Vecna. Purchasable bonus buffs include: -Mori a player that has been stalked the most by your clones. Requires a minimum amount of stalking total. (ensures the punishment fits the crime) -Dramatically increase the rate of bloodlust gain when in a chase with your obsession. (For when the player you hate happens to be your obsession) -See the aura of anyone being stalked by your clones. (players you are in a chase with cannot be stalked by a clone and should have a brief invulnerability to it after a chase ends) -Instantly down the next healthy survivor you hit. (repurchasable, but its cost goes up) Purchasable Debuffs: -Being outside of your terror radius for more than a minute reduces a survivor's generator repair speed (Always considered within terror radius if the killer is undetectable for any reason) -If a player outside the terror radius is stalked for at least five seconds, then enters the terror radius while being stalked, they will scream, become exhausted for ten seconds, and be immobilized for half a second. -Players become oblivious while being stalked. -Players vision is limited by a small amount and the world becomes too dark to see more than a certain distance away. (Repurchasable, until it's basically permanent nightfall after three or four)
What's happening is you're getting your normal T3 timeout refund because it ends during the animation. So technically you're already in T2 by the time Myers throws the survivor down so the game doesn't bother to make you "pay" for the Mori.
At 9:03 I noticed that despite not doing the mori the stalk meter was still refilled to nearly full while hooking which is crazy unless I misunderstood something because wouldn't that mean it works based on being in an animation and like vaulting might work?
Im actually convinced that the only reason they don't touch him is because theyre afraid of the backlash if his rework is bad. He was the thing that pretty much saved the game when they got his license. So maybe its that and a combination of his high pick rate so they think he's fine
At 8:58 your tier three goes to the version as if you had done the mori trick like you said, except you hooked and didn't mori. Maybe the bug is attached to any animation you're doing, or maybe I'm misunderstanding?
Dude I had that bug at :40 on a pig match the other day. I started picking survivors up, jumping off and them hooking them. I NEVER expected to be hittin 360 no scope hooks in dbd.

I got 1000 hours yesterday on dead by daylight and I am extremely proud of myself for sticking through even the bad games and I’ve actually got some friends I play with now which is so much kore fun than the past 900 hours of solo queue and you were definitely a major factor in keeping me playing this game you’re extremely entertaining and informative. I lowkey enjoy that Myers has been touched so so little by the developers over the years. Along the swamp maps, Myers is one of the last relicts of old Dead by Daylight, and it gives me goosebumps.
Realistically, there is probably some licensing issue preventing BHVR from changing Myers. He was the first licensed killer so it is possible that the contract was not as loose as later ones and included language about gameplay changes being dependent on licensor approval. That is the only explanation I can think of, really.
I mean…I think we can all agree that bhvr ads bugs every patch rather than remove. I’ve been running into so many invisible objects on Macmillan. It feels like every map has a horrible bug.
They never test for bugs it's crazy, they wait for us to find the glitches.
Just look at the flashlight change, it made 3 major game breaking bug (Get out with Pig trap, fake vault and walking on Trapper's trap)
Same for Knight and Wesker, if you palet stun them at the same time they use their powers they get an insane speed boost. Knight came right after Wesker and got the exact same bug, like BRO devs with common sense would immediatly try to redo this glitch but no they don't care

I'd be happy if Myers even got so much as a QoL update just adding a stalk completion indicator on the HUD that works like Ghost Face's.

8:47 , I gotta say that I used to find this a clever trick and when I watched pros do it, it made me feel good or when killers see this, they're like dang I know what they doing. However, it's an outdated tech that's drilled so deep in muscle memory and tradition. The fact is that locker grab search is about 5 seconds. A successful attack cooldown is 2.7 seconds and a surv pickup animation is 3 seconds after it was nerfed some years ago. Occasionally, a surv crawling away after getting downed could add 0.5 extra secs. This isn't including non-optimal killer lag pickups, when a killer gets lazy, too busy looking at chat or even the time lag between them pressing the space button if they weren't spamming it. However, the real killer here is, see this surv could have just either attempted to loop, do a spin tech or just HOLD W in a straightest line you could manage. The killer moves 15% faster but it still takes time to reach you. That would have bought a couple extra seconds of time.
However, if the plan was to buy time, surv should let killer mori them but the surv was thinking of denying the killer the satisfaction despite being on death hook. I know that but just proving my point in this situation.
There are some moments when this tech actually buys more time but it's usually when the killer is close enough that holding W is pointless. You could make the killer smack the locker instead. However, even without the killer doing a missed attack, there's still a few occasions the killer would waste time. The point is that this tech should go into a myth buster episode or something. It only has 25% of uses whereas 75% its better to keep running and get downed and picked up rather than a locker hop. Otherwise surv just be getting put on the shoulder already and sent to the hook.
I love tombstone. You literally just have survivors jumping into lockers to avoid the kill and they practically just put themselves on the hook. XD
I was honestly thinking that this was heading in a different direction.
A similar bug is that sometimes when you finish a mori, instead of going back to Tier 2, you go ALL THE WAY TO TIER 1, it's only happened twice to me because I rarely play Myers, let alone using the tombstone piece.

I hope they make it so he can go back to tier 1. And instead of stalking going to stages, he just has a stalk pool for all survivors. And survivors earn stalk back for doing objectives. Going to tier one takes away 10% of stalk, going to tier 2 takes away 20%, and going to tier 3 takes away 30% as well as however long you are in tier 3. The pool stalk limit would be as much as a hypothetical you fully stalk everyone. Jumping from tier 1 to tier 3 would be really great and myers would become more scary as you would need to know where he’s at. Also make it so stalking

With the shere volume of cosmetics that exist for almost every other killer in the game, my hunch is behaviors deal with the halloween property no longer allows them to do anything that would be marketable, i.e. announce a rework, add new cosmetics, change his power or mori, etc. Perks make sense in being exempt from this, as any adjustments they could make would be relegated to patchnotes and are purely gameplay related; to the licenseholder, this means nothing, but with every good balance update comes more reason to buy the dlc that already existed, which must be *all* they agreed to.
The fact that Freddy is in a virtually identical state confirms this to me, and with the next few chapters all being *different* IPs and franchises theyre actually interested in, i dont suspect thatll change.

The rollback you had when the kill prompt was there is due to the way the game synchronizes the players with the server. The local (on your pc) state of the game is never the real (on the server) state of the game. There are many ways to synchronize those different states and some ways prioritize the client (your machine) responsiveness, which means the games acts like you can do everything in the local state of the game (which can be different from the real one) and then synchronize into the real one where your actions were not the same.
Truly unfortunate that one of, if not the most iconic horror icon is essentially rendered useless in a supposedly horror game. I hope they give our boy Michael some love at some point soon.

All this killer needs is to stay undetectable during Tier 2 and have a faster speed vault at 10 percent. Also increase the distance of his lunge attack by half of whatever coup gives you and the speed of his pallet breaks to 15 percent. Gens should take 7 percent damage after kicking them by default during Tier 3. Rework his add-ons, and he would be a solid mid tier character.
one comical thing for me is that right after BHVR released THE joke of a killer, they created Nurse. I think they just created the lowest and highest points in any tierlist and then started to create killers with intention to put them somewhere between Myers and Nurse

I’ve noticed this for years when playing Myers and I never paid any mind to it. I guess I just assumed it was a reward for clutching the tombstone? Never thought it was a bug. It happens to me a lot because I suck at chasing.

Funny thing, this is how full Tombstone works as well. If you're fine with the downsides that Tombstone gives, it can be an even stronger version of this same idea, as you don't even need to time the kills.
The reason Judith's Tombstone is bad is because 9% speed penalty is MASSIVE. Yes, Play with your food can nulify it, but imagine tombstone piece with no downsides on top of play with your food. 130 speed Myers with an insta kill wheras Judith's tombstone is 121 speed with an insta kill.
@@AaronScotz having played with both, we see it more as a trade-off. the speed penalty in exchange for multiple instant kills early (for as early as you can with Tombstone anyways) is worth it to us. admittedly, it's not for everyone but hey, tombstone piece is there to cover that end.

I _hate_ locker jumpers against a Tombstone Myers. I understand it is a viable strategy against them but it makes getting that one achievement so damn hard. If the other three people have already been moried just suck it up and let the Killer be done with the damnable thing already. (It didn't take me _too_ many games to get Evil Incarnate but for three of those games, two in a row even, the last Survivor kept locker jumping me instead of just letting me kill them. You already lost, stop being spiteful.)

I have been thinking about what a possible myers rework could look like, adn i am just going to paste it in here, i know exactly that something like this wont be implimented into the game, but i still think it would be a nice rework. (disclaimer: I did not pay much attention to the exact numbers, they could in theory be changed, i just thought of a way to make myers fun to play as and against whilst still keeping him close to how he is in the movies)
Possible Myers rework
I apologize if there are some mistakes in this list, english isn’t my first language.
I have been playing Myers for a long time now, but I as well es many other people think that he is in a very bad state right now, so I decided to think about ways to possibly rework his kit and following his add-ons. The way I would rework the Shape may seem wired to some of you, so if thats the case, i would be happy to get some feedback.
Stalking and getting stronger
In general, I would keep the action and movement speed for tier 1, 2 and 3 how they are right now. I would change the amount of stalk needed to level up in a way, that he needs the equivalent of one survivor maxed out to get out of tier 1 and the equivalent of 2 survivors maxed out on stalk to get into tier 3, so he would need to fully stalk 3 survivors. To make up for that fact, the time it takes to fully stalk a survivor is set to 20 seconds, no matter how far the survivor is away from your position. You also stalk 1.5 times as fast when you stand still. Since you can only max out up to 3 survivors when in tier 1 and 2, you still have the ability to stalk when having reached tier 3. Also, because it takes so long for you to reach your tier 3, I would make his tier 3 infinite without any add-ons.
Maxed out survivors
For each survivor you have maxed out, you receive a permanent 1.5% movement speed bonus and a 10% action speed bonus to all actions whilst also decreasing stun duration by 12.5%. A survivor that has been maxed out will suffer from the oblivious status effect for the remainder of the trial.
Add-ons
Because of all the changes to his ability, there would have to be some add-on reworks as well. All of the duration add-ons (Blond Hair, Hair Brush, Hair Bow, Lock of Hair and Fragrant Tuft of Hair) would be reworked to decrease the amount of stalk you needed to tier up and to max out survivors. The brown add-on “Blond Hair” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 5%. The yellow add-on “Hair Brush” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 10%. The green add-on “Hair Bow” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 15%. The purple add-on “Lock of Hair” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 20%. The iridescent add-on “Fragrant Tuft of Hair” would decrease the amount of stalk needed to max out a survivor and tier up by 25%.
I wouldn’t actually rework the add-on “Tombstone Piece” at all, since it takes a very long time for you to reach tier 3 and if you use it, you wont be able to reach tier 3 again because of the amount of stalk you needed to reach you first tier which the add-on increases.
I would make some minor changes to the add-on “Judith’s Tombstone” by changing the amount of stalk needed to reach tier 3 from 200% to 150% so that he can still reach tier 3. Because of the instakill ability of this add-on, Myers wouldn’t be getting any movement speed bonus for fully stalking a survivor. And, finally, the Tombstone add-ons would allow Myers to kill survivors grabbed out of locker.

Double up stalk addons for +65% on the ever-changing Obsession and tier up in seconds every time. It's broken with The Unforeseen Devotion of Furtive Friends -- fantastic build across the board. Bubba? Wesker? Doctor? Pyramid? Forget about it, easy wins

Dunno if this would even be a good change, but making map offerings instead reduce or out right remove the map in question from the available maps for it to rng into. and the hand would prob still be fine to remove the effect from the map offering but would not imo need to have the 4 duplicate map offering thing overwriting it. :D

I don't blame them for not changing Myers, honestly. I get a ton of ideas when I look at other killers for add-ons that could dramatically change their playstyles using existing mechanics. For Myers I get nothing. He's kind of just reverse Ghostface.
...idk. Maybe use the hallucination powers similar to the Unknown? Off the top of my head I would,
Replace Myers ability to stalk with an ability to leave clones that stand around and stare like creeps. These clones start invisible and become more noticeable as time goes on, so hiding them near places where survivors will go is important to get the most value out of them. The clones can be placed at corners and will peek around, similar to Ghostface.
Clones will begin to become visible over the course of a minute after they are no longer in your terror radius and disappear once within it again. The terror radius would change to standard sized.
Myers gains energy when his creeps stare at survivors, and double energy when they stare at someone that's injured. His creeps can only stalk one person in their view and require at least as much of a view of the target as the cameras. There is a prickling sound that plays when you are being observed that gradually gets louder as the clone becomes more visible.
The energy from the clones can be used for various debuffs on the survivors and buffs for yourself that can be controlled by your addons or a power selector like Vecna.
Purchasable bonus buffs include:
-Mori a player that has been stalked the most by your clones. Requires a minimum amount of stalking total. (ensures the punishment fits the crime)
-Dramatically increase the rate of bloodlust gain when in a chase with your obsession. (For when the player you hate happens to be your obsession)
-See the aura of anyone being stalked by your clones. (players you are in a chase with cannot be stalked by a clone and should have a brief invulnerability to it after a chase ends)
-Instantly down the next healthy survivor you hit. (repurchasable, but its cost goes up)
Purchasable Debuffs:
-Being outside of your terror radius for more than a minute reduces a survivor's generator repair speed (Always considered within terror radius if the killer is undetectable for any reason)
-If a player outside the terror radius is stalked for at least five seconds, then enters the terror radius while being stalked, they will scream, become exhausted for ten seconds, and be immobilized for half a second.
-Players become oblivious while being stalked.
-Players vision is limited by a small amount and the world becomes too dark to see more than a certain distance away. (Repurchasable, until it's basically permanent nightfall after three or four)
BHVR: that's why we decided to nerf Myers.

What's happening is you're getting your normal T3 timeout refund because it ends during the animation. So technically you're already in T2 by the time Myers throws the survivor down so the game doesn't bother to make you "pay" for the Mori.

At 9:03 I noticed that despite not doing the mori the stalk meter was still refilled to nearly full while hooking which is crazy unless I misunderstood something because wouldn't that mean it works based on being in an animation and like vaulting might work?

Dude I had that bug at :40 on a pig match the other day. I started picking survivors up, jumping off and them hooking them. I NEVER expected to be hittin 360 no scope hooks in dbd.
You can get 4 Moris in a game with this but it’s really a stroke of serious luck since people will get in lockers.
