In the ever growing 8ft wide caravan market, Bailey have introduced their range topping Alicanto Grande models. Prices start at just over £30k for these 8ft wide models and the Sintra offers plenty on a single axle. The Sintra is a four berth caravan with a transverse island bed and rear washroom.
The lounge provides a comfortable sitting area and either two good sized single beds or one large double. The Sintra is well equipped and offers plenty for the money. It does lack in some areas and you can find out more about those in the review.

Looked at one yesterday, very nice van... So disappointed that it does not have a front locker for the waste master and aqua roll.........oh and chairs,
Thank you for watching, I personally would miss a front locker for the water carriers, our chairs went under the bed so not an issue there, but we also kept our dirty towing cover and levelling ramps in the front locker. It’s certainly a compromise 🤷🏼♀️😊

Nice van and great review! Can’t help but think that supply versus demand is pushing the price up at the moment. I suspect the market place will be flooded with used vans & Motorhomes before very long. What goes around comes around. Great vid 👍

Yes that is so true. We have been looking for our first motorhome but have now decided to watch the market a bit and see what develops as lock down eases for travel.
Looking at that lounge area it is very bright , all those windows .
I'm really not sure what I was expecting after watching this, i initially thought it would be amazing! but as top of the range just seems to lack flow, a very modular like internally, cheap concertina separation to the bedroom and loads of little design flaws. I hope Bailey watch your reviews because they really would learn a little! Seems a very rushed through design? Excellent review as usual, thanks and take care both 🛣

@Kevin We have a 2019 Bailey Brindisi Grande, and this is a very similar layout and size, except ours has the ‘G’ shaped lounge (which we love)........Anyway I always tell myself not to watch new caravan reviews, because we have no need to change, but I clicked on this.......I can honestly say that this review has confirmed to me that I will NOT be changing my caravan for many years to come!......this caravan seems lost between modern and traditional to me, amongst other niggles that I can see!.......by the way, an excellent review style by the lady of this channel!
@@Laptopdog78 totally agree, it gives no sense of want to upgrade if this is the standard! They've used good finishes, but in the wrong way, how best could I describe it.....designs should be evolutionary, complement and improve, not revolutionary as there is always a chance it can go wrong as it has in this case!

I'm wondering , with the chest at the front , does that table you pulled out come out much further ? I also wondered if the company had thought of using one of the drawers to contain a roll out support system for a bed ? you know , to support cushions to make a bed.
The table comes out a bit further, and they are really convenient for eating at to be fair. Their is a pull out support fir the lounge bed cushions 😊 Karina
Why have Bailey put the electric hook up in a place that will snag the Awning Skirt?
Sometimes I find design doesn’t always work with practicality 🤔
your dealer should supply and fit a tv bracket just below the controll pannel, wich houses the ariel and plug socket plus a 6v socket, there should also be a tv bracket in the bedroom , if not get the dealer to fit one in with the price, youve nothing to lose, and yes your both right about the draws, also iwish those cupboards at the front with mirrors had doors on , also theres not much room at the bottom of the bed when its extended should you need to go for a tinkle in the night, cheers,

Why did you change from a caravan to motor home
Because the Motorhome suited us better for what we were doing. The caravan was great but the Motorhome is much easier the short trips away.
Sorry but I would never, ever, dream of buying a caravan without a front locker, or one where the door covers the fridge/freezer vents.
I think we would feel the same about a front locker too 😊

Bathroom - Fair
Kitchen - WTF were they thinking?
The drawers on the small extension on the kitchen would have been better to open up towards the door. That way, I am sure they could have had longer drawers and you could still access them from the side. I was also not impressed by the way they slid. If they are that difficult to pull out when empty, they must need a tractor to pull them out if they have any kind of weight in them. The kitchen screamed shoddy workmanship because of this which is a shame as the caravan itself is excellent and I am a huge fan of Bailey Caravans. The small cupboard above the toilet is reminiscent of cabinets above sinks here in Japan. However, the Japanese domestic ones have little a wire stopper going across to prevent items from falling out when opening. Now, if a domestic vanity unit has it, then surely a caravan would need it. I also feel the bathroom was lacking considering the price tag of this vehicle.
The lounge is excellent. I say that even considering that I have an absolute dislike for those obtrusive, obnoxious lockers that seem to be so popular in the UK market. In the case of the bedroom, despite Andrew Ditton's frequent comments about the lack of a space to put your cup of tea, the shelf is there but shallow. Why oh why they don't put a USB outlet there for charging your phone next to your bed is still mind boggling. Car manufacturers have finally got their heads around this so it is high time that caravan/motorhome manufacturers did also.
Bailey are excellent caravans. Especially structurally. They really need to take another look at the finer details on their interiors though.

Surely these vans are not retailing as 30k+ ! The sooner covid is over the better. Pure greed with worse flaws then the designer of the chocolate fire guard.
@lawrence The price has nothing to do with covid! That was the price anyway.
The price has nothing to do with COVID. They have been approaching 30k anyway before. Caravans are only going to go higher in price with rising costs of all material in the supply chain. I am a buyer for a manufacturing company and everything we buy has unprecedented price increases the last 6 mths. Lead times are going out drastically as raw material mills throughout UK and Europe are full to capacity.
where does the tv go in the lounge? on front chest didnt see any sockets there. i think this van is overpriced for what it to be honest
