The reality is Warner brothers has made a single franchise successful in thier lifetime which is Harry Potter that too by capitalising on the popularity of the book
If I want to rate the dc universe against the Marvel universe it is probably a 1000 times bad than the Marvel universe

DC has also made few of the best solo superhero series like The Dark Knight Returns,Killing Joke,All Star Superman,V for Vendetta etc
And I won't deny they do have bad superheroes but doesn't everyone has?
I mean Peacemaker and Ratcatcher were one of them just a year ago and now they are being loved by fans

Probably the biggest reason the DCEU went through a rough patch is because of their own discord.
Otherwise, they know how to create a franchise, how to create a fictional universe.
Take the Wizarding World, for example. Directors were changed throughout the 7 Harry Potter films (Deathly Hallows P1 and P2 together are a film), but the overarching narrative was maintained beautifully. The Snyder-WB discord effect kind of spilled over to almost everything that was released in its years - Fantastic Beasts 2, Aquaman, Tomb Raider. That and the Amber Heard-Johnny Depp case, together made us forget some of the good movies that were made by WB, like Spielberg's "Ready Player One", "Creed II", "Crazy Rich Asians"
The whole point of it all is that public eye was so focused on this Snydercult-WB feud that they couldn't completely focus on the other good stuff they made.
Deep down, we're all guilty of having let feudal frugal pet peeves affect us deeply at some point in our lives. The same had happened with WB, and it's only now that they're healing from it.

No, Warner Brothers doesn't suck at making DC movies. In fact they have been building a cinematic universe which is critically aclaimed before Marvel, which is the DC Animated Universe or the DCAU. Now it doesn't mean that it is inferior if it is animated, in fact it surpasses many live action movies and tv shows. If you don't believe me, Batman: The Animated Series has a 9/10 on imdb and Batman: Under the Red Hood has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I don't have any idea what happens to them during producing DCEU films. But The Dark Knight trilogy and Superman 1979 are considered to be the greatest live action comic book movies of all time. So that answers your question.
The DC Movies you mentioned are from the 2000s, 2010s, and Late 1970s. He was talking about the New Movies and TV Shows that Warner Bros. ruined DC like Suicide Squad (2016), Batwoman, Wonder Woman 1984, and Birds of Prey.
Fun fact - JK Rowling first offered Disney to make Harry Potter but jk Rowling only wanted british actors so Disney refused to make HP and Rowling ended selling rights to WB

Disney never takes risk, we have seen it many times. Whether it's Disney princesses, Disney Superhero Movies or anything. And that's why they have never produced a masterpiece, not one I can remember of ( if someone know a masterpiece produced by Disney, then do comment, and NWH and Endgame are not MASTERPIECE ).
Whereas Warner Bros had took many risks, the reason why WB removed Zack Snyder was MoS and BvS. Otherwise they have produced many great movies, whether it is masterpieces like LOTR Trilogy, Nolan's Trilogy, Inception, Interstellar or just some movie with not so complex plot like Wizarding World and Dune.
It's not that they can't handle DC, after all they were the one and only who made a superhero masterpiece ( TDK ). But there current decisions are surely bad and affecting a lot of DC fans. But let's give them 2 years, after all they are much better than me and you
