Darksiders 2 - Side Quest: Gorewood Boss Fight | Weeping Crag

- After completing the Maker Warrior quest, Thane tasks you with finding and killing a giant golem named Gorewood, who resides within the Weeping Crag. In this episode I briefly show how to navigate the ruins, ending with the Gorewood mini-boss fight.
Also, I forgot to mention that there's a stonebite in this area, infront of the waterfall on the right. Don't forget to shoot it before you leave the area!

thanks I've been looking around for gorewood without being able to find him I wished the makers made it where it set a mark when you activate a side quest it sets 1 in the area but he's hard to find I like using the ghouls for a distraction & to help fight but I like using the crows to help get health up when I don't have health potion

I loved fighting Gorewood... hell, just finding him was sweet! I had just started the game but I refused to move on. I finally got him and Im glad I did cuz the Gorewood Maul was a beast of a hammer.

What scythes are you using at the start of the video? Whenever I started a new save file I always used the Chaos Fang, so I don't remember seeing a model like that.

This game has so many hidden secrets,I did all of this and still missed the firewood boss fight 🤣
When I got to it I didn't realise what I had got myself into. It was my first time playing and I died a lot. I eventually I found a jump spot glitch where gorewood couldn't hit me. I might have cheated but I killed him.
Where do you get the flower for his mask 🤔

at level 20 he is super easy, that's when i decided to go back and do some of the side quest before continuing the main story seeing that i didn't even have the ability to get stonebites

Yeah, I was just asking because they didnt seem like common scythes at all, at least compared to the others. I've already played through the game multiple times now and found all the legendaries, thought there was one I missed.
where is that place on map? so i can go to it

I got through the cage door behind the chest on the balcony by repeatedly attacking it with my secondary weapon (claws)
I never use my Reaper Form when it comes to bosses. It kinda feels like I'm cheating. Same with Health and Wrath potions.
why you don´t use your Reaper Form, that will not be a more easy?

I believe you get it in the Foundry, if I remember correctly.

The ''Third Chest'' that needed the DeathGrip... Yeeeah i kinda glitched my way over there with some claws that offer the almost teleport ability....Yeahh i thought i was smart about that before this video..
little late but i just beat him as a level 3... it was hell
i beat gorewood at level 4, just use armblades and did the charge attack nly died once
There are more bosses but you need the DLC
