DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A CRITIQUE OF POKÉMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS. This is pure satire. Personally, I am very excited for Legends: Arceus and won’t judge its quality until it is released. I simply found it funny that after all the comparisons that I and many other youtubers have made between Sword & Shield and Breath of the Wild, the trailers for Legends were so similar to the ones from BTOW. I originally thought of just making a trailer comparison video, but that idea quickly spawned into this whole imaginary scenario, and it was too funny to not make it. Again, I AM NOT SAYING THAT LEGENDS: ARCEUS IS A COPY OF BOTW OR THAT IT'S GOING TO BE A BAD GAME. I think it will probably be quite good, and might talk about it in a future video. But for now, hope you enjoy this video!
I'm don't with Pokémon, same with star wars. Too many franchises these days just charge me for a crap product and expect me to just buy or watch the next whatever. No. Plenty of other franchises worth my time and money.

This was nice satire video to watch. It’s a nice change from people saying “Oh the Pokémon Franchise is dead and this game is going to suck.”
But Gamefreak and Nintendo do deserve criticism if the their end product is mediocre because both older and younger generations of people deserve better.

This was great, thank you. It’s so weird to see such a major franchise rip off such a popular game and from the same company no less. I’m probably always gonna feel weird about it no matter how good it is.

To me, this game is in a weird spot. It's a step in the right direction, but also kind of rushed and reactive to backlash, or at least that's what it seems. Can't really say how I feel about it until it comes out and we can play it

4:06 the video is so true and overall pretty much the majority of people I see dismantling the current pokemon situation (which many of them seem to be a 90s kid like me or around that age haha)
it's so unfair though because the music is so very good. they're playing with our emotions and they're fully aware of it. :b
oh and edit: you forgot one thing though, the part in which (after the game was pretty much finished) they say that they deliberately strip the multiplayer almost completely away just to see if sales are still high regardless if they don't really mention it

"Having Issues" the highest grossing media franchise in the world. The problem is that the games (quality wise) have been downgraded every generation, they are selling because hey its pokemon however no one says that the new games have surpassed their predecessors (Old being gen 5 or older and new being gen 6 or newer). I think the problem is that they really don't know what to do anymore they peaked between emerald, gen 4, and gen 5 and after that you can only keep doing the same and experiment unfortunately for the logically critic public the experimentation has gone horribly bad.
