Is there a video coming for the 2023 Honda accord touring? I was trying to do it and got the glass piece off but the inside is a bit different from the previous generation and the white tabs aren’t there
Are there any videos for the disassembly of the entire mirror, I have the mirror assembly that I have to replace... just the front bevel that is around the actual mirror?
Nice, well described video. Found the video very easy to follow and reproduce on my 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring. I found it's necessary to initiate the replacement from the side closest to the door. There are a couple of tabs on the cap that need to be tucked in the corresponding receptacle on the housing trim and the rest glides in quite easily.
hey, has the passanger side mirrow with the camera and the one without it, have the same case??. I mean if the base that hold the mirrow with the door its the same??. ITS ON A HONDA CIVIC 2015!!
Need to remove the interior corner speaker by the mirror, just pops off. Then just disconnect the speaker, just one plastic clip squeeze to remove. You'll see 4 bolts holding the mirror onto the car. Tighten them up. snap everything back together. Should take 5 min. 10 max
The wires red & white goes with red wite n green&white goes with black??? They stole my mirror just want to know so i can connect the cables the correct way
Nice, would this also work with a 2018 Civic? I assume also that the whole mirror would need replaced if the black plastic edge surrounding the mirror were damaged?
Replacing the whole mirror wasn't necessary on my 2019 Honda Accord. I bought the "housing set" (which is the black trim visible from outside) for the driver side, replaced the innards from the damaged mirror assembly and put it together. In my case it was pretty easy and involved some unscrewing and pressing on some tabs. The "housing set" in my car was made up of 2 trims held together by some tabs.

Thank you for this. Just added the black caps on my white Sport.
Where did you buy your spare black base? I need to replace just that because the cap is fine.
Could you also please tell us where we can order the mirror cap and the side mirror holder for a 2016 Honda Accord ? Thanks
So easy...AFTER watching your very useful video. Thanks!
Thank you so much any idea where to buy side mirror Honda 2019 Accord driver side
Is there a way to replace the signal light lens that is on the side view mirror?
Truly helped me out man, I appreciate you
What about for a 2015 ? Is it possible to do this ?
Very detailed informative videos! Do you have a video on how to replace the mirror cap on a Acura 2007 TL? Thank you!
Sorry I do not, but if you look at all my mirror cap replacement videos the Acura shouldn't be much different.
@@DIYHonda Nice work brother, do you have one for a 2016 Odyssey?
Good video. I was able to make the repair on my 2019 Accord in about ten minutes. Thanks!
Thanks from 🇸🇦
Made it look easy. I broke the cap clips🤦🏽♂️.... I'll try it again... of course I bought aftermarket ... should be close to Spec I would think.

Shawn Lancaster I have the same problem, do you know if the whole mirror has to be replaced?

Would this be the same for the 2016 hrv?
Can you show how to put on the bottom piece of the cap?
Lovely!! thank you
Glad you like it!
Nice and easy tutorial thanks!
Great video, would you like to test all-weather floor mats for Accord? I can't find your email.
Thanks buddy 🙂
You can buy the cap from Honda dealers
The 2020 1.5 Sport is not setup like this with white tabs. I just took one mirror off and there were no wires or white tabs 😫
The tabs are gonna be whatever color your car is, his is white cause it's a white car lol
God bless
So what's the story with you? You're a honda dealer tech?
Would this be the same for the 2018 CRV?
