We are still anticipating an AIIMS to be constructed at Agartala, Tripura. It’s a must needed hospital at our state considering and enormous potential for Local as well as International patients from Bangladesh , Burma and other northeastern states. In northeast after Guwahati, Assam the second most important city is Agartala but even after 75 yrs of independence also the state has been ignored by centre and state governments in building up of a super multi-speciality in this state. The overall health and medical facilities are still not upto the mark and needs a complete revamping and overhaul of the medical services to the people of the state . We are still hoping for the golden era.
After 2016 Modi has focused a lot on NE development. Now that most of NE is getting connected by all-weather roads and railway there will be all round development. I agree that NE has been ignored for decades. I am sure that things are falling into place with peace accords and removal of AFSPA. If security is good everything can be improved.

If a similar video is made on Medical colleges (both govt and Pvt) it would be great. In 2013 India had 404 medical colleges. Now there are 606. It is easier to build hospital buildings but we need more doctors. It takes 10 years to make a competent mid level doctor. 5 year course, house surgeonship and 2 years in hospitals. Then 2 years MD/MS.
There is no such need. In past,India was a poor nation and people were living in rural areas. Not today,Infrastructure can help connect Phc to major hospital within 30 minutes in many cases. Strengthening Phc will destroy India's money,also of the doctor who will be doing job there as no educated girl will be ready to marry him because of living in rural backward areas.
