Finally someone playing the CORRECT bw list! I think mine is exactly the same, except only 2 Yata, and I would never go back to any other list, even if upstart does make you miss out on a kalut / sirocco / bora kill here and there. Without the 5 or 6 additional draw cards you're just not playing enough monsters in traditional bw, even if you bump vayu to 2 copies. Ofc one second place doesn't say anything about whether a list is good or not, could just be luck or player skill - but I think long term this is the right list choice you made there. Anyway, grats on making finals!
@@pr-pc8fq thank you!! Yeah I could see myself going down on Yata but upstart has felt really good. Haven't really faced any situation where I missed lethal because I gave them 1000. Having upstart also cuts down on the number of times where you just draw lots of traps, which is mainly how you lose with this deck.
I feel like the power of BWs is it can go hard really fast and i feel like if my BW opponent plays one draw trap after another i have the time to stabelise
