Looks a lot like what I had in high school. I had 76 duster, same powder blue with 360. I even had E-T slots on. Although I had white interior with buckets and auto on the floor. Some day, I want to have the money to get a project car, or in some way, re-create the look of my old car. I have 2 Dart Sports now, a '73 and a '75.
Gotta love "Well behaved mice"! I have to say that was a great first start after sitting. I can't remember anything that I let sit staying running after the first pop, from my lawnmower to my dump truck. I'll be following along.
Very enjoyable video. I learn a lot from your channel and I appreciate that you're working on common stuff that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, making the most of it.
Nice to see the Duster again! I am eager to see how it does at the track after two weeks of driveway tuning. I *do* hope you will put a good operating carb on it. That car has a nice '70s look, all it needs are sidepipes, a cb antenna, and Cherry Bomb glasspack stickers on the rear quarter windows! Lol. Love the videos!
No worries on having to explain changing plans. You seem to be much more directed than myself and most of the other You Tube channels I watch. I used to use Stabil, I now use a product called PRI, it seems to be a much better product. Looking forward to seeing the Duster at the track.
Take a small spray bottle and put a few drops of peppermint oil in it and add some water and shake till it turns merky . spray area where you dont want mice ect. rodants dont like the of or taste of peppermint but it smells great to us 😎👍
I have a 66 satellite with a stock 1978 360 2B and a 727 with 294 open rear, i was thinking about a cam ,4B intake maybe heads. Any advice would be great. Thanks
If you are sticking with the highway gears and cruiser type car, then I suggest a small cam of approximately in the range of 212-218 duration @ 050 with about .440-.470 lift. I would suggest a dual plane intake 4bbl intake like a Weiand or Edelbrock, or even a factory cast iron 4bbl intake is great, with a 600-750 cfm carb such as a Holley 3310 or AVS2 650. Your factory heads would benefit with simple upgrades such as springs to match the cam, 3 angle valve job and perhaps milled .030. Or, there are many aftermarket aluminum heads such as Promaxx, speedmaster, edelbrock. You might consider a better torque converter also, but of good quality. You could call companies like PTC or Ultimate, and give them all your info and they'll recommend something.
@@318willrun thank you for your advice,I’m am trying to get it road worthy right now,it hasn’t been driven in 22 years but it runs great.this is my first mopar so I am learning . Thanks for your videos

Great to see the Duster coming out of hibernation!👍
Yes indeed!
One of what I consider your legendary cars that the critics said you cant do it. Well you did and they still are mad.
Thanks Stephen! It is the car that not only could, it did !!!
@@318willrun this and the other duster are what my 71 swinger build is based on.
It sounds good, Definitely fun getting it out of storage.
Thanks!

Always great to wake them up from their slumber! Sweet Duster!
You got that right! Thank You!
🎶 there might be 🎶 a lil dust on the duster 🎶 but don't let it fool ya about what's inside
Ha !! Thanks!
Dryer sheets, like Bounce will help keep the mice out.
Used them in my RV trailer cupboards for years.
Thanks for the tip!
Started right up! I love it.
Thank you !
I took mine for a drive for the first time today too.
Glad you got it out !! Been a long winter for you Canadians for sure!
Yes!
That’s my biggest problem, I don’t use them as much as I should.
Good video ✌️✌️
Thanks man!
Nice sounding car.
Thank you!
Same color as the '73 Charger I had in '82.
'73 Charger is a good car!
Thats a cool car
Thank you!
Can’t wait
We're excited !
Glad the mice didn't chew up the wiring!
Me too because I'm not so good at wiring !!!! Thanks!
SWEET!!
Thanks!

I spray periodically with Raid on vehicles that are sitting. Seems to work.
Good tip! Thanks!

Hazmat.
Where you get the wheels??
Just from swap meets
Put dryer sheets in and around the car, the mice don’t like the smell
Good idea!
Never understood why they didnt keep the 340 same with the 440 switching to a 400 engine.
I think the EPA choked a lot of good engines out in the early 70's and low compression became king! Thanks for watching!
Is that a 650cfm?
What's on the car now is a 670 Holley Street Avenger. Just on there temporary
sounds mean....
Thanks!
