Incognito in the backyard, hidden in plain sight, masked by the sonic waves of melodic techno. Female techno DJ Nina-Raquêlla utilises low frequencies as her weapon of choice. Deep kicks layered with melodic pads, every so often interrupted by ethereal vocals. Don’t be fooled by the disguised appearance. Behind the concealed looks sits a musical mind filled to the brim with melody.
On the 8th of June, Dreadlabs Music hosted a little get-together, celebrating music and the coming of summer. Five skilled artists represented their take on how electronic music should sound.
