Пока что ни первое ни второе с СССР и близко сравниться не может по тому как улучшалась жизнь рабочего класса, какие были возможности.
That bear at 1:15 is one of my earliest memories from childhood. When they released it I remember I cried for so long. Man I still tear up.

The children’s singing is always very beautiful. And it will be nice if we can find Afghan Pioneer songs
In my 2 hour DR Afghanistan video there is a song called “Asman rang e tu ast qashang,” (The sky is your beautiful color) which was a very popular Afghan pioneer song.
Just a few years after this song,the Union was wiped out from within.There hasn't been much for children to laugh about nor a shadow of a peaceful world ever since.
To think about it , It's sad

To be honest, the whole 20th century when Soviet Union existed proved otherwise.
At the beginning of the century, there was WW1, and late stage Russian Empire wasn't a pleasant place for people.
Then came the Soviet Union era. You could say they enjoy a relatively long time of peace until Hitler started to wage war on European countries, and Soviet Union itself became a big battlefield.
Then came Cold War, in which people in pretty much every country on Earth were afraid of a nuclear war between USA and Soviet Union.
Now I’m depressed thanks

You might like it or not, but communist ideology indeed was focused on raising internationalist and modernist youth, but was unsuccessful in this process due to a list of factors. Neo-liberalism becomes outdated too soon around the globe and we see fascism on the rise everywhere. It’s not called fascism, but essentially it is. Hopefully, our offsprings will manage to revive the humanity progress back in majority of human beings’ interest again.

@@nilwendil Unfortunately the way the government was organised due to undeniable foreign threats wasn’t survivable enough to make it to our years. Curious fact is that Soviets Union indeed was dictatorial and this was the problem that was impossible to solve. BUT the conditions in which the state was formed makes it understandable that the government couldn’t afford to be democratic. It’s true that dictatorships are more efficient in organising resources and people especially during foreign threats. However completely awful in terms of transition of power when the functionaries are too old to be politicians. This explains gerontocracy in latest USSR.
This reminds me of French Bourgeoise Revolution when all successes and achievements of the revolution were completely wiped out by Napoleon and the monarchs of Bourbons were re-established after his death and lost war to the monarchies.

this song always breaks my heart when its speaks about "children should laugh and live in a peaceful world", what a hellish earth we live in, where all the progress we have made as a species is limited and destroyed by the rule of monsters, were children go hungry, without clothes, without education, all over the world, progressivly, suffering misery and violence and the demoniac brutality of war. This is the world were capitalism has won, and i know to forget the pain that billions of souls exhume, but when i do remember, i just cant stand it
Capitalism can't ever win, it destroys itself until something else will arise! With time we will be out of this era of ignorance and darkness!

The Soviet Union was the best union that has ever existed on this earth. The people in America and the skeptics worldwide will never understand that. Those born in the USSR back then were some of the luckiest people on earth. I am happy to have been one. The summers spent at the summer camps (pionerskii lageri) was the best part of any soviet child. Tuition-free education, free medicine, free housing to young couples who were recent graduates, New Year gifts to the children provided by the local governments around the winter holidays are the things that everybody remembers well. Kids were happy, parents had the protection of the federal government, everyone had a job. Meanwhile the US government in the “land of the free” was squeezing the last penny from the working class through income taxes. If you tell me that Soviet Union was wrong I will spit you right in the face for being dumb.

Вот ещё через 15 лет Вы поймёте,что насилие запрещено и императорская семья лучше чем кто-то курировала Государство.Например в Китае императорская семья служит наравне с Коммунистической партией,но это хозяечка императрица ,и хозяин Китайских границ император,Божьей милостью и весь мир пользуется их товарами-вот такой товарооборот и такой доход.А в России с серыми по лавкам,чтоб не хуже императрицы было,а образования и дохода,,только у императрицы просить ,,в кровавое воскресение 1905г.А сами..?!.😢
СССР - страна волшебная, глядишь потом образуется где-нибудь в другой части планеты...

Quite interesting, in Russian language (not only, maybe in some other slavic ones) the same word stands for "Peace" and "World" ("Universe", sometimes)
Yes, but before the reforms of russian orthography in 1917, there were 2 variants of this word: "миръ" which weans "peace" and "мiръ" which means "world". The novel by Lev Nicolayevich Tolstoy "Война и миръ" that was written in 1865 with this title, is translated like "War and peace" this way. In modern russian after 1917 there is one word.
