I went with a Samsung internal SSD and just attached a cord to it. Instead of paying $100 for 500 gigs, I paid $100 for twice the storage. I can get a 2.5 case for it for like $20 if I wasn’t to make it a little more portable but even without a case it’s crazy portable

If you reformat the external SSD to Apples to specific file system you will get much better speeds and much better compatibility oh, but of course that pretty much means that SSD is for apple things only after that. However you can always format it back to FAT32 or NTFS. Try it out it'll give you a speed boost especially going from iPad to SSD Thank you

Personally I love my Logitech 720 mouse a 480 keyboard; not only are they universal, so I’m not stuck with them after the iPad is obsolete in a year, but they can connect to three devices not just one. 🥰No point in spending all that money for one use products. 😆
augustya Official Apple products automatically show there if you have the Battery widget enabled. My Apple Watch 3, Air Pods, Pencil & iPad Pro itself battery all display without doing anything. My wife has a clone pair of “Air pods” & they do not show up nor does the 3rd Party “Pencil” she used before I got her the official Apple one.

Snake have a look on eBay as there are plenty of folio type cases with Bluetooth keyboards for under £15 ($20) delivered! I bought one for the 7th Gen 10.2” iPad my wife now uses as the amount of times she would use the keyboard did not warrant spending silly money open the Logitech or Apple folio SMART keyboards.

You can get any number of dongles that aren't pieces of crap like that lention you can only use without a case on your ipad. And they're cheaper. Search Amazon.

Lee Brookes I had the original which came with the Arc Keyboard & used it daily for over 5 years with no mechanical issues at all. The only issue I had was the rubber coating wore away after 4 years. The non-moving scroll function was very good as well with the audible “click/whirr” noise it made whilst doing so
