I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕
As a Floridian, I can say that the Off wipes are also great to keep in your bag in case you ever need them. Also, if you are ever worried about going to a beach area and protecting Elton’s paws, WagWear makes some dog crocs that are a lot more breathable than typical dog shoes, and they are easy to rinse off. That might be something to look into for him.
So funny Elton took you to the beach. Sidenote: ocean view room does also give you the lovely ocean breeze so it can be worth it even if you can't see it, esp if it's really nice out. Oh, and the PJs are pinky peach with very thin white stripes so mostly pinky/peach.

My friend was a landlord for a while, and he and his long haired German shepherd, Breeze, used to live above the pub. As there was a few heatwaves over the last few years in the UK, all the bar staff would put ice cubes in Breeze's water bowl. Then it got to the point he'd stand by the end of the bar (he wasn't allowed behind the bar, not with his fluffy tail!) and the bar staff would throw ice cubes for him to catch. Honestly, Breeze was OBSESSED with ice cubes!
I am in a really dark season of life right now and your videos give me hope for happiness to come. I watch your travel blogs when I feel down to remind myself that better days are coming. Love you Molly🩷
Way more healthcare workers need to be educated on caring for patients with blindness and visual impairment! I really wish that it was a more common thing fir healthcare institutions to ensure that we are all up to par in this area especially. You've helped me a lot to be a better medical professional!
I LOVE your clothing style. I want your colorful "granny outfit" from the beginning of the video and the sweater you changed into when you were chilly. Your location is beautiful. My dog LOVES ice cubes so much we had to put a bell next to the freezer so he could ring it for ice cubes instead of scratching at the freezer 🤣
That's so cute. We live in Wisconsin and have a corgi that LOVES snow... But especially lately we've had less and less snow during "winter" (this especially we barely had a winter). But yeah, he loves eating snow and catching snowballs. So sometimes we have to bust out the Ninja mixer and blend him snow during summer.
Dogs can tell where they have recently walked by scent so he took you the way he knew he came in and could still have done that even if he wasn't such a brilliant boy

Your pink pajama story reminded me once when I was with Joy and she was wearing a silver top. For some reason she thought it was shiny silver but it was more of a pewter silver. She said that changed everything on how she thought about the top! Or one time I went over and she was wearing a red shirt. I walked in and told her the red looked so amazing with her black hair. She thought she'd put on the matching black top that morning! She didn't use her app to check because she was so sure it was the black one. Blind life!
Happy 30th Birthday Molly. I wish everyone the best of birthday's and also, I believe that no matter what age we turn in 2024 that everyone should celebrate it in any way that they can and do it the best that they want to with friends and family. It should be celebrated in an awesome way.

That Elton John piano is so cool! I love those words: My gift is my song on the piano. So beautiful! That really sucks that the elevator isn't accessible, though. More elevators need to be accessible for everyone.

Interesting terminology, with regards to, "fogged" glass, with the twin lights, over the bed.
In Canada, we call it, "frosted" glass.
Maybe, in the USA, as well.
Both, have the same meaning. 🤓

I would think even if you can't see the water, you would be able to feel the ocean breeze, hear the sounds, etc. and it would be much nicer than if you were facing a busy street or the side of a building.
@@shannonrickard8605 oh definitely agree I just think it’s kinda funny personally I would love it I love the sounds and smells of the ocean so being close is definitely a want for me even if I couldn’t visually experience it

I agree, Molly - I always prefer to get groceries delivered to put in my hotel fridge when I'm traveling, too. Hotel food is too expensive, often unhealthy, and promotes a sense of homesickness because it's so different than what I usually eat.

-- I also love chunky guacamole - I want cilantro, onions, tomatoes, you name it in there
-- I am now craving mole and the exact salad you were eating, it looked absolutely delicious
-- The brown of the flowers on your professional speaking outfit are the exact same shade of brown as your hair. They go together really well. Your hair cut makes you look older. Not in a bad way, like your face doesn't look changed at all but your outfits somehow seem more mature even if they are the exact same as when your hair was slightly longer. I feel like you look more business like in general with the hair cut? Like a power business woman. I feel like I am not describing this well but I hope you understand what I mean haha
-- I am amazed less at the fact of Elton's general guiding capabilities and more at the fact that I get so lost in hotels and I typically need to go the same path at least two to three times to get it right and he got it the first time? I am jealous!

My assistance dog likes to follow people in a “pack walk” when he isn’t finished with talking to them (off duty ofc), he loves the beach too, especially at night when he can run off leash without scaring anyone (he’s a bullmastiff/American staffy mix and about 90 lbs).

I watched a short showing Elton and you on a plane. You mentioned how great the seat was, due to the location of the bathroom. So I was wondering do you take Elton when you go to the bathroom when seated on a different seat? And if so does he wait outside the door, their so small surely he can’t be inside with you
Drinks: I prefer sweet, and my margarita of choice is strawberry--blended! 🙂
As for "meat doneness," I went vegetarian back in the early 1980s, but I never did really enjoy meat, so back in the day, if I did order a steak or burger, my choice was always, "Just this side of burnt," because I didn't want reminders of the source.
I'm a blended margarita guy, but the unblended one I've had was also good :)
