- CJI Chandrachud Exclusive To NDTV: The Supreme Court is always there for citizens of India, "irrespective of wealth, social status, caste, religion, or gender or who is in power", and "no case is too small for the highest court of the land", Chief Justice DY Chandrachud told NDTV's Ashish Bhargava in an exclusive interview Wednesday.

A Adani owned TV channel - a Godi media has interviewed the serving Chief Justice of Supreme Court on public television.
This is perhaps without any precedent and a generally bad practice because the CJI must stay isolated. This is ominous.
This is only a manner to get cozy with the gentleman, to get access, to use it, when he is on a drive on various matters like Electoral Bonds, CAA, ED etc. A helpless BJP has found that means and may the CJI not get taken in on it.
I may be wrong but it seems interviewer is feeling bitter to take the interview.😂

Atleast NDTV should be able to afford a journalist with proper english pronounciation or conduct the whole interview in Hindi. CJI seemed to hint him in the beginning by replying in Hindi , but Mr. ASIS didn't get it i guess..... expected after Cheap gujarati businessman takeover...

For the last 3 years we hear only VIP cases and names of popular advocates in prime time debates. Common man is questioning how persons of cases of high value corruption get relief easily while small time offenders do not get bail
Thanks to CJI for helping us reach judiciaries. One important issue being brought to honorable CJI is that local courts are to be freed from clutches from state political leaders.
Agreed with CJI that SC is not for common people. It is meant for the likes of Prashant Bhushan, Kapil Sibbal, Abhishek Singhvi and a few more, who have the powers to summon the CJI at midnight to open up the Court for them.
Today the last and only hope for Indian democracy.

Supreme Court should SPECIFY why the CASE OF KASHMIRI PANDITS' killing and their plea was rejected by Supreme court....? Was that case too small, or Too big, what made SC to deprive the Kshmiri Pandits the JUSTICE.... Where is the creditability of Supreme Court...??

We lost belief on SC in ponmudy case. No longer we can expect. People with criminal minds are supported by the recent decision by cji recommending corruption and still enjoy ministery. No hope.
If CJI proclaim of whatever he is then, 1.why did the SC suspended the judgement issued by the Chennai HC against the TN minister Ponmudi. Won't the public will lose faith in the highest judiciary body with such decisions. Especially a decision like this at the time of election will only favour the accused and his party. Its like giving them a clean chit indirectly at least temporarily.
2. Even in his decision on electoral bonds, I see it gave a bad portrayal of the ruling party as if they bent the law and are the only beneficiaries. The govt. wanted to bring some accountability in donations done to the political parties and set in a process. If there flaws in the said process then SC could have given the govt. a guidance to correct, rather than coming heavily on it.
Though at the outset listening to his speeches he looks honest and simple, his decisions to me seem to carry a vested interest.

for their service. The present scenario is completely changed.

Good morning sir..I have one issue..i purchased a land in Bangalore with my hard earning money, but land mafia occupied that land by force..now the case is in court more then there years..i don't know whether i will get back that land.. please sir help me to get back my land
CJI what have you done to reduce pendency of cases. My case is lingering for the past eleven years in various courts, now with SC for the past one year without hearing date announced. How a normal citizen will get justice. It is a mirage.
Glad to listen to the honourable Chief Justice of India. It is imperative that our judiciary needs to revamp itself to meet the new challenges and deliver justice to the people, particularly to the common man. We should not forget the fact that there are so many people arrested and put behind bars awaiting trial. In some cases, even trial hasn't started. But, they don't even get bail. Is it justifiable that one should incarcerate in jail for years without trial and such people don't even get bail. By the time trial is completed, the person accused of should have completed ten years or more. If a man is found guilty, he should be convicted within a reasonable time. But, can a citizen be arrested based on mere suspicion and fabricated evidence and put behind bars for years? How do we deal with cases where persons are arrested for their political views? Can a police officer arrest a person and put him behind bars without proper investigation? What would happen to him, if he is found to be innocent after ten years or so? His life would be completely ruined. What about his family - the social consequences and the hardship with which they have to put up for years? It is gratifying to know that the present Chief Justice is seized of such matters.

Cease the excessive adulation; no individual can achieve success in isolation. Similarly, the adoration directed towards Modi should be viewed through a realistic lens.
Lalu is on medical bail instead of resting on the bed he is indulging in active politics can such facility be given to normal convict
Interpretations by advocates are hinderances for merit of cases.
For one Cinstitution book, thousand of books on inerpretations can be seen in advocates chamber and still there us no end. No judgments on merits but on technical failures by police . What is fault of affected parties.
Stays should not be ex party and must be heard to stay or vacate.
Bith Advocates never remain interested to decide about stays and there is some understanding between them. is it not injustice to affected party and further ask fees for it also.

Please do not interfere in matters relating to Executive and Legislature.Parliament is elected by the people so interfering in decision made by Parliament is interfering with the wish of the people.

Who regulations the court judges order passing all cases as per law
In my knowledge every judgement of parcelty and influence where we complain we need advocates for complain why do not allow common man complain on on line
Sir why it's taking long time to hear the divorce cases since the both parties are suffering...if divorce petition filed means they don't want
to stay together...So in case of divorce there should be mobile courts must be there and should be finished with in a time period i.e.1year etc

1. People's court: This is far from truth. There is no process for citizens of India to hold the judicial system responsible. This has lots of threads to it but will leave it to that.
