- Suzy Homemaker Soda Fountain Kids Maker Set - Tasty Treats! - It is time to check out another maker set! This is one I have had in my collection for a year or so and was looking forward to finally checking it out on video. It is not often I find a toy from the early 70's, or any vintage toy that has never been opened before. I want to try and preserve it for future videos and or the next owner that ends up with this toy.

I like how you treat everything with care, especially when opening/unboxing. I hate it when I see others just tear right into the box to get everything out as if they're being timed.

What a great toy, and unused from the box! I'm about 8 years too young to have enjoyed these toys in their prime. Now, with your vids, I have a healthy obsession for anything Suzy Homemaker. Surprised to see the yellow colour, but its definitely more '71-ish than the traditional green. Fun video! 😀

I used to watch this dude when I was 6 I'm 11 now he popped up in my recommendations memories 😂
I used to have these as a kid including the easy bake oven but my parents never had the patience to help me set them up so I was never able to actually make any food or drinks from these ☹️
Jen Nicole > I hear ya. My mom and dad got me a Easy Bake Oven when I was a little girl. I think I made one thing,and wasn't allowed to use it again, as my mom was too afraid I'd make a mess. :(

My grandmother would put milk in her ice cream and my grandpa would wrinkle his nose at that and pour cream soda over his 😊 brings back fond memories

Seems like a lot of work for little reward, but I still absolutely love this little fountain!

I've been watching all of these Suzy Homemaker videos and I have been incredibly entertained. They all look like so much fun! I then watched the commercials for them and although the toys are amazing the adds were a bit sad in that it makes it seem like a womans only goal and joy in life should be found in cooking and cleaning. These videos are still really cool tho. Please keep making them

I used to occasionally mix my ice cream and milk together when I was a kid, I would either call it a magic potion, or a ice cream float

You said this couldn't have been opened before, but you just opened it perfectly, so how do you know no one else did that.
+All Things Paper You can tell by the staples. The only way to open it is to bend them.
I could easily bend it back or re-staple the box

Because the toy was considered girly.
Not only that but back then, they were pretty sexist when it comes to the female gender.
In the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's; those years should be around where sexism is slowly getting rid of.
Sorry if I got some information wrong but this is just my answer.
Because today's generation is to PC! I had 4 brother's and they played with this too back in the 70s but didn't cry that it didn't say boys!
