Cool Clefable guide it goes in depth about why Draining Kiss can be a viable option. The only thing I disagree with is Gravity being useless. It is a very strong utility move that soft or hard counters more than half of the playable roster. And if you run EXP share its very easy to get to lvl 12 in most games and gravity is plently useful even without lvl 12 becasue some characters become completely useless under its effects like speedsters and certain all rounders. I think the issue is that Gravity has good synergy with Moonlight but doesn't work well with Draining kiss. You have to run follow me to use draining kiss because it helps you stick to targets so your damage is more consistent. And the other benefits of Follow me as stated in the video help keep you alive while on the frontlines. Gravity is great for punishing enemies that try to dive your backline or stopping them from pushing into your team. The key is knowing when to use it and which skills it works on to get the most value out of it.
I do completely agree with you. However as a Dodrio main, fighting a gravity clefable is too easy 😂 I wish gravity had the same mobility as follow me. It would make it superior in my opinion
As a Clefable player, Dodrio’s charge me and die to my ally. I die sometimes, but my enemies go down afterward. I heal around 85-90k a match with stacking moonlight.
I have noticed that you can somewhat predict which unite move you will get. Depending on where you cast it can at least lower the randomness, from my testing you can only get self destruct in certain spots of the map and only when surrounded, hyper beam feels completely random as sometimes you wont even get it in a game, surrounded by enemies more likely to get fly, pressing unite away from enemies i get hydro pump, around objectives like the regis it almost always gives me Close combat, snorlax block i get more often pushing enemy base goal or defending a goal. It could just be purely coincidence, but like i said i feel like you can almost expect a higher chance at getting a specific move under specific circumstances. Ive played a lot of Cleafable and ive been pretty decent at guessing which ill get. Splash is super random and rare and i dont know how to trigger it. But i have yet to get self destruct anywhere but top birds, top enemy goal, enemy center area. So it feels like you have to be surrounded by a lot of enemies on the enemies side, as in testing you can get it frequently spamming it in top birds.
Interesting. One time I got Self-Destruct while in the Ray area. More specifically, the outskirts below on our side just after passing the grass through the corridor.
Really 😮 that is very interesting! I wonder if there are some data miners that can back this story. I do know if I push the first enemy goal I always get block or fly :p so that's a thing 😊
Thanks for the guide video. Looking forward to more navy emblems so we can really capitalize on its unite! Clefable feels a little janky to play so I'm hoping its gameplay is smoothed out overtime.
That is a great question! My answer is quite simple; I LOVE AGGRESSIVE DRAIN KISSING 😍 and to play draining kiss it requires you to get to level 4 (maybe even faster compared to your lane partner). To fully utilize the aggressive playstyle you cannot get level gated on level 3, it is just a bad place to be as a Clefable. And the AEOS Cookie gives a lot more HP, so you can stay alive longer in SoloQ. What items do you bring on Clefable? 😇
@@ChocolataCakey thanks for the explanation. I use XP share, stacking specs, and buddy barrier, but I run it as a traditional healer. I'll give your build a try!
I had a soloQ match yesterday with💞 clefable💞. Picked Gravity & Moonlight to help my teammates.. and found another reason why gravity is stupid xD it was versus Aegislash... And he can just dash through the gravity field with his auto attack.. so sad 😢 gravity really need some attention! Hope you have a nice time with draining Kiss 😁
For me personally there is never a situation where I'd ever pick draining kiss over moonlight. Sure Draining kiss does decent damage, but if you wanna play a DPS support I feel there are better options. And most of clefable's value come from their amazing healing output. when played well Clefable can easily average 100k+ healing in a match with moonlight. The 20% movement speed from moonlight also helps you reposition and keep up with allies. Its also very helpful when trying to get away from a bad fight.
Draining Kiss is my preference but I've been trying to get Moonlight to work and it certainly is ideal *depending on your teammates* 😅 Hoping Draining Kiss better rewards players for trying to heal teammates with it in the future. Gaining much greater shielding for doing so would be amazing.
@@ChocolataCakey I'm also watching all of his content. I really don't like commentary from the other big players. I cannot understand what cris hero is saying. Lol I subbed to you on my first watched videos. Keep it up. I love the full length build videos and also the 1 min shorts. Very re watchable.
Exp share is awesome with a level 5 powerspike pokemon (a lot of them are 😉). However, with drain kiss 💋 I do not always recommend it 😲 the extra damage from any item with Special Attack stat is so strong. Enabling you to shut down Squishies and scare others

I dont mind solo queue Clefables trying this out on games but often they prioritize stacking too much and neglecting both their EXP and staying alive.
Yeah priority stacking can lose many many early games. That's why Blaziken still has this terrible win rate 😅

Video was amazing 👍🏻
Hoopa guide will be awesome waiting for it 😅
Oeeeh it probably going to be 2 videos since hoopa has 2 viable builds/skill sets 🤓🎉 what build do you tryout lately?
@@ChocolataCakey my build are muscle band focus band and exp share
For skills I use portal and phantom force
Nice math and detail.
I run exp share, buddy barrier, and energy amp or focus band but mostly energy amp
I can imagine this works well with moonlight 🤔 or do you use draining Kiss? 💋

Great video. Curious why you don't mention XP share, since it is a very popular item on clefable.

@@WVTarheel interesting 🤔 do you often win late game fights with the team and moonlight? ^^
I dreaded to play Clef during the event challenge. Now I'll try thoze double ztacking itemz with draining kizz to be lezz reliant on my team

@Aoimizu2010 😂 I have the opposite, just like the example Phil gives in the video ( SoloQ way of life 😅 ) 6:32
@ChocolataCakey yeah random teammates are the worst in solo queue lol
