Certain equities normally rise around this time of year, but that is unlikely given the present recession and economic environment. I have a lot of stocks with the hopes of making money this month, but I'm not sure if I should retain them or sell them. I've been losing money since Q2 2022, and the outlook for investors in 2024 does not look promising.
Despite my conviction in your direction, my recent stock purchases, and the fact that I am an AMC shareholder, I have not been able to amass anything. I had been in debt for far too long before the collapse. What are the steps required in investing?
I think it's great to use a portfolio advisor when investing. Before I met with a certified portfolio advisor during the pandemic crash in March 2020, I had recently started having terrible dreams. Finally, with the help of my advisor, I was able to increase my initial investment of $400k to over $2.8 million dollars.

Hi Matt, I was looking at the leaps even further out in Jan 26. The 9.73 strike is trading between $3-$3.15. I was thinking of picking some up. I noticed something where otm probability was a little high at 80%. The break even intrinsically today would be tsla around $235. Why do you think the otm is so high on something 20 months away?

Does TSLL have decay the way TQQQ has over QQQ?

Etfs don't have time decay. Only options as you have an expiry date on them. If you are referring sqqq, the value declines over time as it shorts qqq where the value increases over time, thus sqqq loses value. Tqqq is going up with qqq.

Have you checked the bid and ask on that stock? It’s horrible, and that stock decays over time.

The spread tightens and blows out depending on volatility. Generally it’s not that bad, you won’t get swept as hard on an ETF. The MM have to approach it differently
@@sef2273 TSLL carries high risk due to leverage, lack of diversification, and potential volatility decay, making it more suitable for short-term trading rather than long-term holding.
