The headstamp on the pastel enchi DG clown is absolutely wicked! It looks like a snake's head with it's tongue out. I have one clown pastel that also has a headstamp that looks like a snake's face. Also the color is so bright and beautiful. DG is really the best gene. Just got a super pastel DG, very clean and bright, can't wait to breed him.
Those Mario Desert Ghost are absolutely amazing. Love your vids thanks for the side by side comparisons. I almost lost my vision 5 years ago and about a year ago my husband brought home our first ball python. Since then I have become utterly fascinated with all things ball python. It gives me something to fill my ever growing tediously boring days of being stuck at home.

my personal all time favorite is the two-gene FIREFLY. I just like that simple combo... like a classic Jack & Coke. But you are right that nothing beats DG in the single gene category.
Thanks for a very high quality video. The only thing better would be being able to determine or estimate het DG indicators, like ringers & track lines in het pieds, or the banding in het cryptic. This would be useful for smaller breeders because recessive DG combos are one way to make big enhancements to DG.

I can personally say my DG male is one of my favorites that I own. Every single time he sheds that color holds beautifully. If I had to pick another gene I would choose the single gene ghost as my second favorite!!
The color (to me) seems to dull as they (the gost) line get older and larger. I saw some pythons on another channel, I cannot remember the name of the channel or the guy running it but he calls his wife turtle. Such a cute name. Evolving pythons is the channel.
You know, from what i see, you have to add pastel to Desert Ghost, in order to get it to compare to the bright glow of Enhancer.. for instance ive never seen an enchi DG look as bright and clean as that enchi enhancer..
Desert Ghost is an amazing gene! I’m interested to see if xtreme gene compares to it? I think the super form of xtreme gene might hold color and cleanness close to the dg? I would like to see comparisons for sure!

I love Axanthic stuff but they get browner and browner with ages. I found DG in Axanthics really fix that up, I am making double hets next year and hopefully get a double visual male later.

This has been around forever 😂 I couldn't sell them in 2014. Now it's the best mutation in Ball pythons...never change Ball Python market.
