The truck recovery was clean and Gene worthy. That 'Snow-Cat was pretty neat too. It Should win awards. They worked hard on it. That rear hydraulic anchor itself was worth a prize.Too many have more Winch than weight, and an anchor gets the jobs done! Thanx for the vid.
BSF recovery you guys are so awesome when I first started watching TH-cam BSF recovery you were the first one I subscribed to and are still the best one out there
Hey Eric, Hello to Mara + Abby also. That pick up was literally stuck between a rock and a hard spot. The Tow equipment show had some impressive equipment. I have watched a channel from out in LA ( Pepe's ) I think it is, who work a couple of the heavy rotators. They make working some nasty wrecks look like child's play. But they do not go off road ! That vintage wrecker was really cool to see. Robby Layton has one that has been started but nothing new has been shown for a while.
7:42 - Love the recovery! Don't, however, love the winch line cutting into 2 trees. Not a good thing, for either the winch line or (especially) the trees.
Watch the soft shackle S>T>R>E>T>C>H at about 3:37 as the winch is tightened... it almost doubled in length! lol... a High lift jack & a short strap run thru the rim could lift that tire & allow some rocks or lumber to be wedged under the tire to reduce the winch load.
Add some more Pulley/Snatch blocks to the arsenal Gene. You could have put one more between the truck & tree. And Back the jeep off to a distance to use up winch line to get it off the Drum. More Pull POWWERR LOL... I keep 4 at all times in the Truck and the ATV pull package. Thanks Guys... Mike M.
After pulling the front end off the rocks, I would have pulled the back end from the hitch up and backward with the wheels turned to the driver's side. Pulling from further back and higher up in the trees would drag the back end on the road while steering the front end back onto the road.
Can we talk about those Mosquitos.. Ouch that one was painful to watch.... Nice pull,,, Edit, That is a cool Loaded attachment on that kubota..Wyatts ride looks great def 1 of a kind
Eric; if I can locate it; last known location was Princeton, MN. My dad's 61 or 62 C60 Chevy Wrecker with a Marquette Wrecker Crane; (built in Mpls.); with an address that is somewhere in the middle of 35W. I would love to restore it and bring it to the Tow Show 7 Back To The 50's at the MN. State Fairgrounds. If I have to; buy a good matching rig & build a replica of it.
I vividly remember my times wheeling, before the days of cell phones, and had to walk my ass hours out of some random place to get help. lol
Nice save on the pickup. That boy stopped and called for help just in the nick of time!! LOL!

Good morning i thought it was a good surprise doing a recovery with Gene's jeep. You guys benefitted from it by getting a new subscriber.
Thanks for sharing

Nice recovery with Gene and his jeep with basic gear.
They had 5-7inches of rain in the days before this. The ground was saturated and soft. Plenty sketchy without a high lift jack. But we got em out!
When you buying a rotator? I think it will fit down the trails with no problem. Lol.😂

Just goes to show good equipment helps but its really the brain and hands of experience that gets it done.
That Gotrac machine looks just like what Abigail needs 😅
Dave Sparks should totally have one of those tracked tow machines.
Cool, the Track Machines Canadian... Bombardier/Ski-Doo...
you should show us more of these types of recoveries
Great job, guys!❤
Gene for the win!

That track wreck work for what you do
That was a great video.
I saw that before the build
Gday guys
Eric you should’ve kept the full beard!!
Needs a winch for the Toyota!
Gene's spare may have lifted that toy off of the rock! Great work tho!
He should have turned on his lightbar. Winches before lights
No kidding. Usually these people are driving on the roads with these stupid light bars on.
I love that Toyota.
The worst thing you can do cameraman is try to override Eric
That’s one of my pet peeves one man give the directions
FYI
They’re always suggestions. We have our backs…
How much did you charge for this recovery?
