Looks pretty dope, also not 60 bones.
“This is like a souls game” yet he complains when you have to find shortcuts and can’t fast travel (as you did the same in DS1) and complains how some bosses are easier or harder than others. Like I can crush a boss people struggle with and never win against a boss people find easy. Grow up IGN
It feels like they have to create criticisms for every review in order to balance out any praise they give a title. It's not meant to be a debate, it's meant to be a review! There's no need to level minor gripes against a host of positives purely in order to come across more journalistic.
Is it any wonder they steal other people's review work when they're usually completely unable to put together a subjective one of their own.
This finished product looks way better than the beta or whatever it was
Is this some kind of futuristic dark souls?
*LOVE* the aesthetic!
I don't say see It as BAD and as a fan of Souls( and games like that) I'am gonna give this a chance.
stunning? looks like its from 2003
It only had a budget of 50k
You know what else costs 50k? A Chevy Tahoe
They made magic considering that
The art style and design compenstate for the low budget graphics.
Its a 7.5 at minimum. 6 is a little rough guy buddy pal.
Yeah I am also feeling a 7.5 with the bugs. Without bugs solid 8 for me. The combat and atmosphere are worth the price of admission for me. I am quite impressed this came out of a small indie studio. IMO this is a must buy for fan boys of souls like games.
Visually it looks quite "Stunning"... lol, looks like a budget game made 10 years ago
so practically an alien dark souls on a budget
I like souls-like style, no problem they still make games of this genre. Almost playing it. 😆
+IGN should update this with regard to bugs. They're gone. All of the ones they showed and mentioned I haven't seen once. My only complaint with this game is the bad platforming... which probably has more to do with my control scheme than the level design itself.
THANK U i was really wondering if those were fixed now that u told me this im gonna go buy it since its on sale right now
Anybody here who doesn't like this game.
@Vaughn not much of a reason to buy this with the summer sale going on pick up dark souls 3 for $5 and the season pass for $12
3:35 YOU BLAMED THE GAME FOR THAT??? HAHAHA
May need to check this one out
Is this out on Switch yet? No WiFi
I think it’s about time we put Dark Souls clones to rest for a bit before we have a bunch of failed ones and then everyone gets sick of the play style, personally I’d like a Too Human kind of game just remade and fixed all the glitches and bugs and the 5 min respawn time
Too Human's combat was garbage in hindsight. You literally just mashed the thumb sticks spamming attacks. It had a lot of cool ideas but the combat would not hold up to today's standards.
How does this look stunning? The original Demon's Souls looks better than this visually.
Wth man, you must have seen it at 144p
Is this some of a HD remake from an older game??? Looks like PS3.
Finished the game a moment ago.
Sadly, because of a bug I was able to walk to the end.
And now im stuck in NG+, all keys to the areas are gone and the is no radio dialogue anymore (story stuff).
30hrs *puff* gone : (
Same man, 30 hrs, save file corrupted
This game is like" let it die" to me. Also idk why but im getting a feeling he's reading a script 😂🤔
lol what did you expect from a games journalist... a stuttering improv piece?
They always use scripts dumbass
