It is absurd she even thinks she can choose what institution/prison she wants to go to but, it’s funny, DOC will definitely not send her to where she wants to go. Even with the judges opinion, it’s completely up to DOC where to send her!

Hello from Southern Ontario Canada, where we just got our first snow 😢 any person who would blame their child for a murder deserves life in prison. She got away with murder for yrs and thought she was invincible.

I cant believe she was allowed to pick where she is housed. SO SHE CAN SEE HER FAMILY.... really the victims family doesn't get to see him. Since when is that a thing for first degree murder. You give up your l8fe because took a life.

    What a complete narcissist.
    Life was the correct sentence.
And we saw all her mouthing of words during the friends victim impact statement. Nasty attitude won't bode well for her in prison.

The defense attorney is talking about the trial and trial evidence. I thought this was not allowed during sentencing. She's been convicted, and you can't retry it. Imo when someone takes a life, they give up theirs, period.

In Florida, if a judge simply says "life" in a sentence without specifying "life without parole," it generally means that the person can be eligible for parole as Florida law defaults to a life sentence with the possibility of parole unless explicitly stated otherwise.
